******* Official Football Manager 2015 Thread *******

The scouts are giving you the price to buy him now, which is obviously a small fee because he's out of contract soon.

As to whether he's worth it... only you know how well he'd fit into your system, but he should have a good few years left yet, so for just a signing on fee... well you'd be able to sell him in 18 months for much more.

I only scouted him as a result of a news item saying his club were delaying a new contract for him so I thought I'd check him out.

You think I have a system?! :p I like to think that I am the king of organised chaos. ;)

Can anyone suggest some backup keepers for Man Utd? I'm having to play Valdes a fair bit to keep him happy. I'm thinking that if he doesn't lose his slight concern by the end of the current season I'll sell him to keep De Gea as my main keeper. I'm not a fan of Lindegaard and plan to sell him at the end of the season. Amos has already gone.

I've seen some people in SI Games' Man Utd thread keep Joel Pereira as a backup keeper, does anyone here do that?

Have a look at Maxym Koval he was pretty good for me in FM2014 (forgot about him in FM2015 but his stats same still the same) as a backup keeper even good enough to be first choice for some of the top European teams if he gets enough games under his belt to get his reputation up for them to take notice of him.

This game is driving me insane - my tactics will work brilliantly - then just stop working all together, no matter how much I tweak it.

Ever think it's about the AI teams changing their tactics? It would be a bit dull if it was just a case of using a magic tactic for every match.

Just seen that you can now get Football Manager Classic 2015 for tablets:).
I haven't bought this edition on PC as I haven't had the time to play it, but the tablet version could tempt me.

Not sure about what features it doesn't have compared to the full game, but I know it's limited to 3 leagues.

So there I was bidding the minimum release fee clause for Koke of Atletico Madrid when I find out that he's signed a new contract at Atletico Madrid despite the fact that when I leaked I was interested in signing him he said he looked forward to a bid being made.

He's now got a release fee of £73m and I'm fuming with Diego Simeone! I think I can get Saul from them anyway but I don't think he's as developed as Koke as an MC. Can anyone recommend a decent MC that I could afford as Man Utd in the second season? Don't think I've got much chance of Pogba.

Very frustrating when that happens. Even more frustrating when an agent resets one of your players minimum fee release clause when you're going back and forth on contract negotiations, and you don't realise!

This is the guy underpinning my Wycombe Wanderers side. Making a good fist of it at the moment, although just dropped £41m over 4 years on an 18 yr old left winger from Man Utd. He's doing well (5 assists in 3 start and 5 subs) but his potential is only 3.5 stars!

Yep. My plan is to sign Saul now, if he's good enough and then praise Koke and see if I can get him next time round. Oh and if Atletico and Utd should meet in the Champions League I aim to demolish them and demonise Simeone.

Not had that happen, yet!

just brought this (finally) wow its hard to get used to lol starting off with Port Vale so not a lot of great players just finding my way around the menus atm

I fell out of love with the series and hadn't played for about 7 years so can't compare it to the recent offerings but I really like it.

Complex enough but not overly so and tends to move at a reasonable pace.

I'm in my 5th season as Gatesgead, 2nd season in the championship and I'm 2nd after 30 games. Still so many holes in my team and I could do with another season in the championship to improve but I'll keep pushing for promotion anyway.

I've got Sutton United into the Champs from the lowest pro tier and loving it at the moment. My team are playing really well. I've had back to back promotions since League 2, which is amazing considering I've not had a huge budget. Just got lucky with the transfers.

Do you find your attendances are increasing? Mine are slowly going up, by real emphasis on the slow part of that!

Yes, but it's very, very slow. Not much movement in five seasons to be honest although things should improve. I've got a tiny stadium of 7,000 so my season tickets and gate receipts are minimum and that doesn't help obviously although the board have just invested £28 million in a new stadium. I've just been promoted to the Premier League and now I am struggling to find talent who are first team ready so it will be interesting to see if I can stay up or not.
