cos its illegal to use a VPN ie having your internet routed through an american server..
Aye, I think he's a bit simple that one.
I'm doing full race. 49 Laps on Bahrain which I'm yet to do. Finished qually in 9th though.
Difficulty set to Expert, Manual gears with no aids and AI on legend.
How it should be done.

You must be ****ing awesome at this game then!
I was playing on Easy, won a race by 50+ seconds. Medium... Still won by quite a margin. Now I'm on hard and I was battling it out for 14th spot. Just couldn't overtake the guy at all!
And I don't consider myself to be that bad!
However, I was sweating buckets trying to keep the car in check and battling for the overtake. Games are supposed to be relaxing but not this! I was stressed out at the end of the race!
I consider that to be realistic and a whole lot of fun though!
Need a break now. Monaco next
The worst bug so far for me is when you do a pit stop and then AI won't release you for 10 seconds as all other cars stop and pass you while in pit stop, WTF IS THIS!!!!!
Checked official forum and they recommend not to stop when told but to do another lap or adjust setting before the race.

Is expert setting AI to Legend, if so why not just have it expert. If not how do you set the AI.

When you choose to do career, change the difficulty settings, its the second bottom option, bottom being how many flashbacks (which I have set to zero even though I am playing on a lower AI difficulty.)

Don't you have to enable Legendary in options?
That's all it was ever going to be coming from Codies, not to knock it at all as I gave it a quick go last night and then 'pre-ordered' it on steam, shame it won't unlock till 6 as that gives me 50 minutes with nothing to do this evening
If you want a proper sim F1 experience then iRacing will have the Williams FW31 (2009 car) out in about a months time (for the last season), it won't have the F1 lifestyle stuff that F1 2010 has but it will at least be a proper sim with an F1 car, can't wait for that

obtaining a product before it's release date via means which are illegal is illegal.
It's like saying, I've pre-ordered a product but i can TPB a week early so i'm not doing anything wrong.
But anyway, mine has arrived woo. DFG is going to get some bigtime use
I dont think any crime was commited as the product has been paid for so its not like it has been stolen..
I dont think in a court of law it would be deemed as illegal.
It does not slip and slide like an F1 car, When you watch F1 the cars jitter all over the place loose grip and re-cover etc... In the game you either Grip or Spin there is no slide....
Thats what i have found anyway....
Could be against the terms & conditions of Steam or the game in question so they could just ban you from Steam if they had a way of tracking it. Unlikely, but plausible.
