- Punctures are infact random, despite CM promising otherwise.

No, they aren't. Go off the racing line, into the gravel or lock/spin wheels and you will get puntures. Haven't had a single one since my driving improved. The last one I got puntured immediatly as I ran wide into the gravel (it was pretty worn anyway). People just need to drive better.

can it use dx10? if false does it mean dx11 is on?

i have a 4870x2 shall i leave it true?

This is driving me bats. I am just doing time trials and it keeps voiding my lap (AND THE NEXT ONE for some reason that I just can't fathom) if I go the slightest bit wide and in fact lose time because of it! I just have to keep restarting the session as it stops recording my time!!!! GRRRR!!!! I can't count the number of times that I have restarted a session because it stopped recording my time! There are loads of tracks there which I just haven't got personal bests on because of that.

Why would you want to set a lap where you have bashed into something or run wide

Just be awesome and not rubbish :p

Second full race weekend now and I have a R&D objective (beat the lap time within 4 laps) now i've accepted this objective 3 times now and completed it within 4 laps, out lap flying lap and in lap. Does the R&D objective ever go away or is that it done for the rest of practice ?

Achieve it once in each of the three practice sessions. Once you have beaten the time the objective should go away for the rest of the session and they will add the new part to your car.

After a day playing and comming from rfactor i think its not bad at all for codemasters first attempt.A few minor flaws but nothing that can be fixed.I am even surprised at the online mode.I thought it was gonna be a joke but its not that bad at all.My only thing is that u cant type to ppl online, just use a headset to talk.I think they have the balance pritty good with graphics and performance.Ok the graphics could be better but i prefere it to run smoother.Overall i think a 7-10 is fair.

Can you not adjust the sensitivities in the controller options?

There's no menu option that I could find last night to adjust saturation or deadzone options at all.....

Which is highly unusual and a shame. I imagine its going to be some sort of config edit within a text file somewhere. That will be an absolute pain to test having to exit and reload the game everytime.

xbox 360 joypad deadzone

Go to your main install folder > action map

Inside that folder are lots of xml files, the one you want is called Windows XInput. Open that with wordpad. Near the top of the file are options for left and right steering. Set the deadzone to whatever you feel is comfortable. 0.1 = 10%

Hope that helps anyone who needs to change it.
