I wasnt, but i am now.You overclocking ?.
You have a bottle neck.
Could be your cpu your memory your psu,
But probly a bios setting,
what i cant understand is
if its made by the same people who made dirt2 a dx 11 game, they have had all this time to make it and perfect it, yet they release it in dx9 ? with a supposed dx11 update due, whys that ?
I know your typ your board is probly a bag of tripe and your memory came out of a dell,
You throw a 300 pound graphics card in there and expect it to perform,
You realy do make my day
I recon your just ****ed because your rig costing 3 x the cost of mine and its performing worse.
rofl lmfao pmsl lol
people are so funny, the graphics are nice, game runs great and it's modern day F1.
who cares about AI or pit stops just get in and drive, it's a game.
I love it, I think it was fantastic value for money, unlike two 5870s in crossfire.
Yeah, im thinking of blocking this dude...He isnt bringing much to the threadclearly you dont know what your talking about, and your about 13
ive noticed on the CM forums, the threads that started that were complaining about fake AI and poor coding, and poor performance have all disapeared ! how nice
Tbh, I don't see why it matters if the times are made up or set by a car on the track - the computer will make sure they are in the same region anyway. What is much worse than all of that, is the rubber band AI (unless that is what you mean in the pit stops). I am 12th and pushing quicker and quicker lap times, but the time we have all pitted I am usually last - I was driving with all aids off, but if the AI is cheating then I will too. I also don't belive the scripted races because I have seen random things happen in the race that end up on the final timing boards e.g. Alonso finishing behind me, Liuzzi winning the race.
Ok, I have managed to fix the issues I have had whereby I got better framerates in windowed mode than full screen. In the 3D tab of Catalyst, I changed everything to use application settings, disabled Catalyst AI, unchecked enable adaptive AA, checked the triple buffering, minimap detail level to performance and wait for vertical refresh on unless application specifies.
I have no idea how changing all that affects running the game but I can now run it in fullscreen on max with more than playable frames.
I am surprised that something like that can affect a game so much. I never even noticed that tab before. What is anybody elses settings in there? I use a 4870x2.
you could call F1 2010 a Beta for future F1 games from Codemasters, thats if they keep the licence....
are you playing with force dx9 true or false ?
for me there is so much diffrence ( graphicly ) in dx9 set to false but its just unplayable
Hey kid i play on 1680x1050 and the fps never drops below 60 fps.
I was prooving the game is well optimised and requires very little of the way of hi end graphics to play the game to its maximum.
Anyone such as yourself who has probly waisted money of a graphics card and unable to use it to its maximum just cracks me up.
Oh yeah and before you say 10fps @ 2560x1600 get your facts right,
The game runs on my 8800 on that hi res on 17 to 20 fps.
So you can hide away now in that corner you came from.
I'm getting between 38 and 45 fps running at 1920x1200 everything cranked up with a 460,the 768 version,coupled with 4gb ram and a e8400 o/c to 4ghz
Looking at your performance of your 8800 card, something is wrong somewhere with either my card or drivers.
I'm not even getting 60 running at 1680x1050,anybody help?
