Well they never bothered with any other games.

They've only just patched out the Ebay motors cheats in GRID and how old is that game?

Monaco is really hardcore with a pad I much prefer the standard tracks, but coddies went to town on Monaco, it looks unbelievable. And the rain effects and standing water, oh man...

Well its nice to know someone is in the same boat!

I was loving the game until Catalunya. I was finishing in respectable places with the Lotus (15th,7th,13th ,11th) in the past four races and really enjoying it.

I managed to qualify 13th and my fastest lap was 1.24 dead (in Q1 unfortunately :() but the race is a different matter. All the AI just seem to want to do 1.24's or quicker constantly and you just end up forming a stupid bunched up train of cars so as soon as you pit, thats it, dead last.

Eventually i just thought "**** it" and went 200mph into a wall :D

Unlikely to get fixed. These have plagued Dirt and Grid and I have never seen much fixed on those :(
 
There's also a problem with the AI's middle sector in Bahrain, I can get past a Ferrari in a Lotus through that sector.

this puncture thing sounds bad :/

over driving isn't causing a lot of punctures, pure randomness is. that's the issue. A brand new set of tyres can puncture 3ft after you take control of the car leaving the pit lane.

I did exactly the same, very frustrating that on the same difficulty settings I can be posting competitive times (for a lotus) in Australia or China but then move on to Malaysia and Spain and it just seems like the AI are racing in a different class taking corners flat out where I need to lift off and I can't get near them whatever I do. Especially annoying is the whole 'Jarno's much faster than you, maybe you should copy his setup' stuff for a feature which as far as I can see isn't in the game yet.

In China I finished 14th yet in Spain even if I make no mistakes and push to the ragged edge I'm in 23rd at best with Bruno Senna glued to my rear wing. I do like a challenge and Monaco certainly is one, but I'm slowly improving my lap times through practice etc and feel I could qualify in a half decent position for a team like Lotus, but Spain just feels like I practice and then hit a wall where I can't go any faster and the AI are still 1.5-2 seconds faster per lap and this is my teammate in the other Lotus I'm talking about nevermind McLaren, Red Bull and Ferrari.

Sorry, but the punctures I've had have not been from overdriving either.

Puncture, pit, exit, instant puncture.

Punctures must be random.

When I first had the game people were complaining of silly punctures and I hadn't had one at then, even after 15 hours of play time. I also assumed it was their driving style, but since my second puncture happened the moment I exited the pits with brand new tyres on, then punctures must be random.

It's best when you get a puncture and pit to put on a fresh set of tyres and then get another puncture shortly after exiting the pits, it's happened to me 2-3 times now.

They must have some sort of random number generator like rolls in WoW to decide if your tyre blows or not at a given time.

I was playing on my friends PC and I had a puncture 2 secs into the race.
I hadn't hit anything or gone off track, I didn't even make the first turn.
 
the AI are slow through the first and second sectors at Bahrain, i quailed on pole in my Lotus but got a 5 place drop for a phantom yellow flag, went on to win the race by 11 seconds.
 
i have a problem, when i try to race the game freezes on the black loading screen.

but when i try to do a time trial it doesn't freeze..

so why is it freezing when trying to race?

Only problem I've had so far is in Silverstone with punctures, its sooo easy to get one on that bit of rocky type apex just off the grid straight, sucks!

Yeah I was was playing last night in career mode and for the first time it froze on a loading screen. The only thing I had changed was the sound options from Raptor to Hardware. Have you changed your sound output ? I'm going to play now and change the sound output back again to Raptor to see if that makes a difference. It's the first time it has frozen but it's also the first time i've used hardware sound output, so that's maybe my problem, try yours as well to see if that makes a difference.
