***Official Formula One 2011 Thread***

I am up for some racing tonight if there is any, otherwise its 100% career race.

New build is great HBK, although F1 does crash a few times when loading back to the main menu and I am not sure why. On the flip side F1 runs average 100 fps now and loads twice as quick :). A new build does generally mean the save file wont work though, and I have to start my career again and I have lost all my set-ups.
 
Apologies for ramming into you Mutant Doctor, but I was equally rammed from behind into you.

That is why I don't race with randoms.

I am sure Andy is annoyed with the randomer too, but it was slightly amusing from my perspective.

Back to SP methinks.
 
well i would swear but i will get banned,lol.i think some ppl think they can win every bend even if the other car is infront at the end of the straight.But it happened twice and he decided to smash into me in frustration.

Its all cool mate, i did notice the car right behind and kind of figured it out what happened, it was good race between me and you for few laps before i buckled under pressure and spun.

I was really struggling to manage the fuel though, i reckon i was playing with out any assists and i was spining the wheels too much could be the reason.
 
Ive not had much time on this game yet , school holidays means when i do get in , i have children preventing me getting to play like a big kid :)

All i have done is a few laps on melbourne and enjoyed it, im really wanting to come and race with you all one night , but i know im not ready and would risk crashing into someone and spoiling their enjoyment so i have not hooked up yet , what sort of lap times do you guys hit on melbourne ? I know you will all be fast than me but it would be good to know what to aim for before i feel "ready" to drive amongst others without causing big crashes or anything , im hitting around 1min36 most of the time now if i recall right , obviously you guys will be way faster than that !

Yeah, was a tough race - getting pushed out by randomers and also managed to spin early on didn't help. Was equally tough catching you, I had an immense straight line advantage, but just couldn't get close enough to you in the corners to make use of it.

Just jump in and find out when you get on :) - I don't mind the occasional mistake and crash - most of my frustration comes from people using my car to slow down instead of their own brakes.
