Official Glastonbury Thread: 2007

Eeeeeeeee! It's gettin close now.

It's actually my first ever festival (which i know is quite shameful considering i'm 22), i've just never had the cash before when its come round to ticket buying time! :(

Figured i might as well do my first festival properly and goto Glasto. :D

Me and toads will probably be around the dance tent quite a lot by the looks of things - thats if we even know where we are at any point. :D

Gates open next Wednesday (20th), there's music on some of the smaller stages on the Thursday this year, but the festival doesn't kick-off 'properly' until Friday mid-morning. Finishes midnight Sunday.

I'll be leaving Southampton around 11am wednesday I think. Getting the train there, so I reckon I should be sitting down, camped up, before 3pm.

Only down-side to the train is they apparently have sniffer dogs at the station :(

Do you have to get up horribly early on the wednesday Naffa? Make sure you get some sleep, ready to pull an all-nighter for the summer solstice Wednesday night :D
 
Yep, got ours too. The photos on the ticket are quite poorly printed actually. I'm not being funny, but my mate is of asian descent and the contrast on the printed photo is shocking... you can barely make out any detail of his face.
 
I spoke to one of my mates & he had an email confirming despatch yesterday. Apparently a girl he knows recieved her tickets last week! I just tracked my order on the SeeTicket site & it says tickets waiting for despatch :(
