***Official GTX 670 thread***

Yea, I think from best to least best its:

EVGA
Gigabyte
KFA2
MSI

Asus are a steaming pile for any warranty support, I've heard nothing but bad things about customer experiences with them. KFA2 only have a 2 year warranty, but a faster RMA process than MSI who take up to two weeks to fix / send a replacement.

I've never had to use direct manufacturer RMA, but if I ever do I would want to have a decent experience.

I hope there is good stock of reference cards tomorrow, never been a fan of custom coolers.

They're so much better! As are the card designs and max overclocks. Lower temps, no noise, but each to his own I suppose.

I just checked my PSU box for cables, I have 3 x 8 pin and 3 x 6 pin connectors, so I'm tri SLI ready for the future :)

You must have had bad ones! All the decent brand custom cards I've used were still barely audible at 100% fan speed (Zalman, Zerotherm, and MSI custom coolers).

Now I'm not usually one to complain about things like this but... What's with the blue PCBs?

It will look mighty out of place in any new system I plan to make.

Hi everyone, lurked the forums for a while and only just registered.
Excited to pick up a 670 tomorrow, most likely the windforce if it's around 370.
Only had my 570 6 months, gonna have to sell it, 670 seems too good to be true.

Well surely if that KFA2 PCB might have removed voltage limitations (or at least reduced them) then that would lead to a card that could overclock higher than the windforce correct?

As I said a few posts back, it's a very real possibility as it uses the same PCB as the hall of fame edition 680, which I believe has some after market voltage regulators or something to that effect.

Care to comment Gibbo?

Hopefully actuall reviews with overclock results will be out soon so I can look at the full PCB KFA2 and Asus cards and see if they match the Gigabyte.

The KFA2 seems to have a much cleaner PCB layout, but theres no way of telling if it will be similar to the Gigabyte without reviews. Then again 99% of reviewers are overclocking noobs :(

I just compared the PCBs, the layoutis the same except for the caps, the GTX 680 hall of fame has 18 caps, the GTX 670 EX OC has 16 ... it should still be a beast with that custom PCB, cooling and 8+6 pins though.

Now that's nice, a bet priced towards reference 680 prices as well. Personally I'm not touching the short 670's, I'll hold out for a better card/deal.

yea for me to depends on the price, just cancelled my order for asus dcII 7970 which was £359 if the windforce or KFA2 is more then £350 then i ll just wait for a better deal or get it from somewhere else!
