***Official GTX 670 thread***

still a bit low mate, mine at stock:
tdQFh.png

my GPU is the EVGA 670GTX SC

I'm only using a reference kfa2 though, what's yours boosting to during the benchmark?

Run it in 1920x1080 not 1920x1200

What power supply do you have?

Yeah good catch, I didn't notice that, should net me a few extra frames.

I'm using an Enermax 620w liberty

A slightly better score in max settings heaven with 1250 / 7354:

At +680 on the memory I start getting a few artifacts and negative scaling with my score dipping back down to 1250ish, so 1250 / 7354 is my maximum.

Thats gotten me up to around the same as stock speed SLI GTX 480s now!

Looking better :)

CS have just confirmed my waterblock made it out on todays van and should be with me Monday.

So Monday we will find out for sure if these cards have some thermal clock limit we are not seeing.
Did the 500 series not have a throttle limit set on them, i remember some users on here reporting something like that.

My 570's get 55 stock, 64 max oc with those settings.

Single 570 30 stock, 35 overclocked.

I guess having 2 gpu's helps a bit more when its maxed out like that.

Yea overclocked 580s / 570s / 580s go a lot higher:

My score is 1 point less than a pair of stock speed GTX 480s, and better than my SLI 560 tis were.

All the lucky sods with 1350 Mhz GPUs will be getting even more than me.

Getting vantage + 3dmark 11 runs done at my max speeds, then I drop everything back to stock settings.

let me know what gpu score you get on vantage :)

The physx driver is losing focus before the second physx text or something, I'll try running it without afterburner open and switch from dual to single display.

THat didnt work, I need to update my Physx driver.

I've probably missed it, but how do I get to chose my power limit/target to 125%, I can only go up to 111% (I've got the Gigabyte GTX670 Windforce)??

Thanks :)

its down to the bios settings, chances are the gigabyte is already at the equivalent of like 110% anyway so you've got less headroom to play with

to increase it you are in to the territory of flashing a custom bios

I think I read something similar earlier today, 500 series (early revisions) would cap out while later revisions would go further? Either way what ever is stopping the card appears to be down to the driver rather than the cards limits, limits I would expect to see artefacts before a driver crash.

As said, this is down to the cards bios I think. All windforce cards have a max of 111%

Very impressive that these are catching stock 480's in SLI.

Run vantage with physx disabled

I just want max scores atm, heres it done after I installed new physx drivers:

http://3dmark.com/3dmv/4079541

Graphics Score - 35827

Also you can compare it to my 980 / 4400 clocked SLI 560 tis:

http://3dmark.com/3dmv/2890783

Graphics Score 35286

3Dmark11:

http://3dmark.com/3dm11/3409041

Graphics Score 10029

Does the physx only affect cpu score as I never run vantage with physx on so not really sure.

Yes Physx only accects the CPU, not GPU score.

I remember RJC on the forums mentioning it in a thread about gpu power usage, think there was a way round the throttling as well. Great to see that they match stock 480's, i can just about do that with very heavy oc's on my 470's. But the heat and noise is too much.

Yeah I stumbled over some comments on another forum while searching about 680 voltages. He said something along the lines of his first rev 580 would only clock to around 900mhz on air or water, but later revisions were capable of 1000mhz+.
