You can get a 480 now for £300 and overclock it past 580 performance, more on board memory as well.
Prices creeping down now. Zotac GTX 480 for £287.86

temps and noise are not a problem for those willing to do a custom fan profile.
What did people expect? It was so obviously a misprice and was not going to be honoured, but people placed orders anyway. ****** have not wasted your time, you have wasted theirs. They are not the only etailer to make pricing errors and retract the products in my experience.Well ****** has gone in my bad books. Stunts like this costs you customers.

The fact that people rang or emailed every day and asked whether the price was right, they had 5 days to fix it and they even told people cards had shipped at that price makes them wrong.
It's not the point brother
5 days to correct the price
Loads of orders, then cancelled

It is much easier to honour a misprice when only a few people place orders. In this case dozens (possibly hundreds) of people knowingly placed orders for something which was obviousely underpriced.to put it in perspective, i bought my 580 from that well known auction site and got a silly massive amount of vouchers with it that effectively meant i was getting the card less than half price. they admitted they messed up but decided that as it was their cockup not mine (and many others!) we would all get our vouchers as promised. THAT'S how you do business.
you **** up, YOU pay, not your customer. something I always live/work by in my own business.
i never buy hardware from the jungle site any more anyway. too many damaged items in post and slow as hell expensive delivery.
ocuk = free and next day delivery, quality packaging, fair prices. can't ask more than that!

I too placed orders, but I was 99% sure they would not arrive. You have lost nothing, but some poor CS person has had to process lots of cancellations due to the error. Life goes on, forget about it.
Do you think OcUK would hounour such a gaff? I can answer this from previous experience with an order for an 8800 Ultra. They would not and I didn't really blame them either.
