Mirafit were fast, one parcel already here I think its the bench. Wonder why they didn't send both together.
 
Copying this post over from the Cycling subforum (where I thought it might be a better place to post but maybe not!)

The new lockdown is forcing our hand as our gym is complete enough now for equipment and the main thing both me and the wife wanted was a really decent bike for cardio, and don't want to get caught out with no-one having stock so looking to buy asap. Unsure if this thread will be the right place for it either as we seem to focus a lot on the strength training (not complaining) but here goes... Anyone got any ideas?

I think the wife and I have maybe come to a decision... from what I can tell the Life Fitness IC4, 5, 6 and 7 are all essentially the same bike in terms of the frame and everything, with most of the differences being in the extras... so the IC4 is £1250 and has no onboard computer/monitor of any kind it is literally just a mechanical bike, the IC5 simply adds a little TFT monitor + computer with basic stats but costs £1650! £400 extra just for that! (similarly the IC6 is another £200 for a more advanced monitor, and so on)

But I think what we are going to do is grab the IC4 and then since the only thing we are really bothered about is having an idea of cadence we are just going to buy one of the Garmin or Wahoo cadence sensors and attach it to the crank. It appeals to me I think because it means the bike is really just a bike - there's no onboard software to become outdated or electronics that break and let it down eventually - if the cadence sensor breaks or gets old we can just replace it (they are about £30)
 
So I have my bulldog mammoth lite squat rack and I'm loving it so far. The one problem I have is that the spotter arms are out of stock and have been for a while now. So does anyone else know of some spotter arms that fit 80mm x 80mm and has 16mm pins? I believe this is the equivalent to 3x3 inches with 5/8 inch pins

The spotter arms are always out of stock. I refreshed the page daily and picked them up when they were in stock for about an hour. Going to pickup that rack next year.

Wow, this must have been a good luck posting. Just checked the site (for the 4th time today) and both the spotter arms and dip attachment were in stock! Brought them both instantly :D

They only ever emailed me about things I hadn’t registered for.

The Indy bulldog rack just about keeps me going. I’ve had nearly 260kg on there for shrugs, but I’m pushing it a bit. My squat isn’t that high, but I think I’d still be just about ok to bail with about 150kg stabilising the base. It’ll keep me going til next spring/summer.
 
I had my email on there, but didn't get an update when these came back in stock today, so yeah not sure how successfully it works.

Either way I am a happy bunny now and I'm pretty sure I have everything I need/want for me gym for now. Or do I...
