Get the Apple Wireless keyboard (can get them 2nd hand quite easily, but get the 2 battery version rather than the 3), a keyboard sleeve (they exist) and a stand for the iPad. Ultimately this is going to be better than any of the iPad keyboard cases as from what I've seen they all use gash keys and feel terrible to write on.

This doesn't make any sense. They invented the smart cover so that it wouldn't spoil the sleekness of the device when you're holding, and so it was easy to whip on and off.

This has none of those benefits and an extortionate price tag, and offers nothing over having a regular Smart Cover and either an Invisible Shield backing or additional sleeve.
 
Not sure what case I want. With my iPad 1 I had the official Apple case and a Snugg (leather folio case). I liked the protection of the snugg but the Apple case didn't add any weight or bulk and it protected it from scratches.. drops, not a chance.

The smart cover looks nice but won't cover the back so no.
I wonder when cases will be in production? Don't want to take it out of the house without a case but don't want to spend £35 on a smart cover.

I'm wondering if the existing skins will fit the new iPad, in particular the DODO skin?

edit: probably not if its got a bigger camera

I have bought a smart cover for the iPad, but does anyone know of any good messenger bags with a slot of space for a tablet/iPad.

As it seems iPad 2 cases will fit the iPad (TNG) can anyone recommend a clear back cover that works with the smart cover?
 
Went and ordered the Magicscreen screen protector - Crystal Clear (Invisible) Edition. £15, not cheap but get 2.

Will purchase the incipio case whenever I get money back into my account from Apple.
