ok wife vetoed the CF back

Getting the red leather smart cover and a clear back..... possibly with iron man decal underneath.

Ive got to have some crass on it!

I've looked at loads of decals and can't find any i really like other than

so i think i'll pass and just have the smart cover and the clear back :(

I refuse to buy one on principle as the price is daylight robbery for a couple of bits of plastic that probably cost them pennies to manufacture.
 
I wish a case existed that would mirror the official apple iPad 1 case. That was perfect imo and is still in good condition on my iPad1 atm. Best value for monies case imo for that machine.

Yeah the skinny seems to meet your requirements, comes in at £40, saw solutions-inc now got them on pre-order. Don't think they've arrived in the country yet though. There's so many cases out there its crazy, just about finding the right one!

I'm still unsure what I'm doing. The skinny or smartcover + some sort of back protection - possibly the incipio smart feather and a sleeve if needed (already on its way for £10)
 
Anyone been able to source any interesting sleeves for ipads? I saw the Foof ones but would like to see what else is available other than the usual pc world special neoprene ones.

Wanted something ASAP to protect the new iPad while I search for something else I like. Ordered a neoprene one off eBay for £2.99, arrived today. Plain back, red lining and red inside.

Seems OK to actually, I'll wait and see how the iPad fits tomorrow (hopefully) before deciding whether to keep it long term.

Edit: Just re-read your post... This doesn't fit under the category of interesting :p
 
Ordered a Foofbag :-)

Got some screen protectors on the way, still deliberating which Smart Cover to get (will probably get Red leather). Can't decide on a skin for the back.

Feels nice, the back is very soft as well. Quite a bit of the back but more obviously on the front. It's got the main pocket for the iPad, which apparently can fit the iPad 2 with smartcover and another smaller pocket -- can put in a USB cable or something.

Been using one of these with my iPad2 for a while and it's really good. Excellent protection and even has tubing around the inside of the zip to make sure it doesn't scratch when you open or close it. Fits the iPad with smart cover and even a coverbuddy case on with no problems at all.

I use the front pocket to keep a cloth for cleaning the screen :)
 
That Belkin one doesn't look too bad actually, the foofs just seem to scream hippie vegan to me, I guess I don't really know what im looking for!
