Looking on wiki the only thing that would concern me about Di Maria is his lack of goals. Only 4 from 60 appearances :eek: Krasic has 24 from 160 appearances which is a much better tally. Dzagoev looks a class player, and he is still only 19. Maybe we should buy them both :D
 
Just reading Sunday paper this morning

It says that Bellamy has fallen out with Mancini and Spurs, Sunderland and Arsenal are sniffing around with the first two likely to make bids in January.

Seems much more likely that Ben Arfa will be coming in rather than Di Maria or Krasic
 
Forgot to ask do any Arsenal fans know when Song is leaving for the ACN?

Need to know for Fantasy Football reasons :p

The only thing I don't like about Bellamy is his attitude. He's a **** of the highest order. But as a striker, exactly what we need.

looking at it on a basic level I agree with you - but those extra 100 games is a hell of a lot, and it wouldnt be that difficult (with the kind of profile of player we are talking about) for him to get 15+ goals in that kind of time frame - which would make those stats look a whole lot different

That is looking more likely it seems - but I still wouldnt be surprised if Utd didnt actually sign anyone (and only have Diouf as an extra player in our squad)


fyi Bellamy seems to be denying any kind of rift today

Rumours that SAF is looking at Lyon's goalie Llordes (French No1 as well I believe) who would cost £20m or so

Not so long ago even experienced goalie's used to be pretty cheap - looks like those days are gone for good lol

The problem is there isn't a lot of great keepers so clubs are understandably keen to keep hold of them.

Also I may be imagining this but I swear keepers seem to be more loyal than most players, can't remember the last time i saw a keeper demanding a transfer or anything.

We're definitely in for him. In Hughton's last press conference he was asked about both Kris Boyd and Beckford. He said the Boyd rumours were completely made up, whereas Beckford was a player we were looking at.

How much are we likely to pay for Beckford?

I guess someone should give him a punt sooner than later, not sure if he is the right player for when we are back in the premiership NEXT season
 
Not sure why you'd want him, he isn't a Premiership player. I'd like us to keep him to get us to the Championship rather than sell for 1.5m but we'll see..
