Not looking forward to the Liverpool game with no Lennon. :(

Been massive (ironically) for us this season and finally getting the assists he should. 9 assists so far this season which sees him joint 2nd with Giggs on the assist table and behind Fabregas who is top with 12.

Rooney isn't as fast as Ronaldo in that video, Ronaldo gains a lot of ground.

Rooney is still fast, but he is a stronger and more robust powerful runner.

haha I'm quite quick but I'm lazy and have a dislike of defending. I'm only fast when I have the ball or it's imminent

All this talk about Rooney surprises me, all it was was some story in the Daily Star that Real Madrid want to buy him, big wow. Unlike Ronaldo who you always felt would fancy a move to Madrid, I can't see Rooney wanting to up sticks. He's got a young family and is settled in England his own country, playing for a top club.

Sure maybe in a couple of years if MU drop off the pace and aren't competitive in the Premiership/CL then he might consider it, but not right now.

I was never the fastest neither, I always found the 'off the ball incident' to be the best cause of action in that situation.

As my old coachy person said :D

"If you can't get to the ball, make ****ing sure they don't"

There goes the ronaldo money ;)

It beggars belief that one of the richest clubs in the world has been allowed to find itself in it's current position.

They're looking at issuing bonds to pay off some of the higher interest loans, which is probably not a bad idea. We could do with being taken over by someone that could afford the club though, I'm sure it won't be too long.
