** Official ** January 2010 Transfer Thread- Rumours & Speculation in here

I like Anderson, I think he needs to be playing more often. He needs a good run in the side along side a single center mid partner or maybe 2 if United start playing 4 3 3.

United haven't played the same team in two games in over 100 games or something daft like that.

Didnt Possebon come back because he wasnt getting game time (or was that Kiko?)

United haven't played the same team in two games in over 100 games or something daft like that.

I never saw what was so surprising about this - after all 9 times out of ten you rarrely get two consecutive EPL games, its one cup or another (and of course there are tour games and WCC games in Japan in early 09) - and even if you make one change due to injury or whatever the stat continues....

No but I think playing a constant side in the league is a good thing. Just rotate the odd one or two, so maybe swap out a winger or full back every other game.

Anderson gets played out of position most games.
He's an attacking midfielder who should be operating solely in attack and play making, We've seen the best out of Rooney when he has been played up top and not arseing about on the wing, we saw the best out of Ronaldo when he was allowed to play as a forward, we saw the best out of Ferdinand when he got played with a stopper.

Stop trying to hammer square pegs into round holes and play him in position, for a run of games, in those run of games except that he might have the odd stinker and dont then drop him for the next ten.

Shouldn't Arsenal be getting involved in the whole Begovic free for all. We need a better keeper, first team and back up and well, he should be cheap, is clearly available and who else is there. A cheap mistake if he is one, or a potentially brilliant long term keeper on the cheap.

Spurs are completely stupid, Kaboul is utterly crap and Gudjohnson, seriously, someone whose no where near his level before he left Chelsea, on a high wage, when you've got 4 strikers already. This is why he ends up with clubs WAY over budget wage wise and deep in trouble after he leaves, a huge number of "stars" on high wages riding the bench.

Or going back as far as 2007 amongst the 47 other threads where you have called them Pompie incorrectly.

So it's ok for everyone to know what you mean.... I think it was fairly clear what was mean't by the post.

I wish the ignore feature actually didn't allow you to reveal posts.

Again I'll point out, Pompie(Oh look I actually don't care how you shorten the name, I mean, i really, really don't) haven't played their players again.
Simply has a different meaning Pompeeeee have paid their players LATE again.

Its not mispelled, its a completely different meaning, get over it, it was factually incorrect.

Considering the argument was made that I did the same thing as the person I accused, spelling something incorrectly, and using the wrong words aren't the same, at all.

You could have writen, "Popmiee(yes thats on purpose seeing as he seems to make your blood boil) was payid l8 again" , the spelling would be painful, but the MEANING would be the same, I wouldn't have complained about his spelling on a forum though obviously you would have. However the factually incorrect information, was just that, so I pointed it out.

Would that be the reserve team that has only played one game this year, and doesn't play it's next game till Feb 10th. Or another reserve team that plays regular football. The reserves have only played 10 games this season.

Ashely Cole? Alex Song? Loans certainly did their career's the World og good. Cole's loan move improved his game ten fold, and saved his Arsenal career. Currently 7 members of the first team squad have been out on loan at one point in their career.

You are aware your post BACKED up what I said, but again don't let that stop you.

Firstly I said creative players don't tend to do well on loan learning different systems with different quality of players. How will Wilshire learn to spot and pass a throughball to a player like Fabregas, if Fabregas isn't in the team?

AS for Cole, he played 14 whole games, that didn't turn his career around, at all, he was already VERY good, and if you read my post, defending is defending no matter where you do it. Thats why I specifically said it works badly with creative/offensive players.

As for the reserve games, you're talking about this year, like a joke, then refering to the season. Reserves who tend to play on worse pitches without undersoil heating don't play much in dead of cold spell, shocking.

Likewise, he HASN'T BEEN IN THE RESERVE TEAM, he's mostly been on our bench. YOu said the reserves have played 10 times, yet Wilshire hasn't played 10 times this season, I think its, what, 3 appearances with sub's so far. So yet again you're proving my point, rather than play him in the reserves where he would have maintained much better match fitness, he's not played, at all.

Song, well, as YOU decided aswell as most of the forum, you all said he was AWFUL for the start of last year and before. After he'd been on loan, for those who do think Song is good now, all of them thought he was crap and that he's improved THIS season dramatically. So you could even argue he learnt bad habits in bad teams on loan, so took extra long to come good after training back with decent teams again.

He was absolutely terrible at Charlton, or so good defensively, they got relegated, he was so poor for the past two seasons that most Arsenal fans thought he was awful, this season people have suddenly decided he's brilliant......but again, key info, NOT after his loan, but years after his loan after a long period of being considered crap.

So you agree with my on every point I made, is that what you're getting at?
