Would that be the reserve team that has only played one game this year, and doesn't play it's next game till Feb 10th. Or another reserve team that plays regular football. The reserves have only played 10 games this season.
Ashely Cole? Alex Song? Loans certainly did their career's the World og good. Cole's loan move improved his game ten fold, and saved his Arsenal career. Currently 7 members of the first team squad have been out on loan at one point in their career.
You are aware your post BACKED up what I said, but again don't let that stop you.
Firstly I said creative players don't tend to do well on loan learning different systems with different quality of players. How will Wilshire learn to spot and pass a throughball to a player like Fabregas, if Fabregas isn't in the team?
AS for Cole, he played 14 whole games, that didn't turn his career around, at all, he was already VERY good, and if you read my post, defending is defending no matter where you do it. Thats why I specifically said it works badly with creative/offensive players.
As for the reserve games, you're talking about this year, like a joke, then refering to the season. Reserves who tend to play on worse pitches without undersoil heating don't play much in dead of cold spell, shocking.
Likewise, he HASN'T BEEN IN THE RESERVE TEAM, he's mostly been on our bench. YOu said the reserves have played 10 times, yet Wilshire hasn't played 10 times this season, I think its, what, 3 appearances with sub's so far. So yet again you're proving my point, rather than play him in the reserves where he would have maintained much better match fitness, he's not played, at all.
Song, well, as YOU decided aswell as most of the forum, you all said he was AWFUL for the start of last year and before. After he'd been on loan, for those who do think Song is good now, all of them thought he was crap and that he's improved THIS season dramatically. So you could even argue he learnt bad habits in bad teams on loan, so took extra long to come good after training back with decent teams again.
He was absolutely terrible at Charlton, or so good defensively, they got relegated, he was so poor for the past two seasons that most Arsenal fans thought he was awful, this season people have suddenly decided he's brilliant......but again, key info, NOT after his loan, but years after his loan after a long period of being considered crap.
So you agree with my on every point I made, is that what you're getting at?
