Leon Best cost Southampton a chance of getting back into the Premiership by missing several good chances, scoring a horrific own goal and missing a penalty in the shootout against Derby County a few years back.

He is absolute garbage.
 
Looks like Stoke got Begovic for £3.5 million. Robbie Keane to Celtic on loan is a surprise though.

All out on loan. Don't understand why we would want to cut out so much depth.

We've already got a tiny squad and loaned more out too;

Eddie Johnson, Diomansy Kamara, Toni Kallio, David Stockdale, Matthew Briggs, Wayne Brown, Matthew Saunders, Michael Uwezu, and then selling/releasing a few players...

Ah well, Okaka and Shorey are good deals, especially Shorey, thank god we finally have two left backs in our club (three if you include Buchtmann).

Wouldn't have minded Beattie or Keane on loan though...
 
I thought Keane was "the best player in the world" according to Motty :o

Why would you want to loan out "the best player in the world" :D

You have had a lot of players in since dodgy Harry arrived so maybe you had to trim your squad to balance the books. Someone has to keep an eye on Harry when you see what has happened at every other club he has managed. You still have decent cover in each department and most of those you have let go on loan are not good enough for a team hoping to finish top 4.

Redknapp has very little to do with any of the transfers with us. Levy is doing all the business. Redknapp just lets him know who he wants and doesn't want.

I'm not saying Harry is up to is usual where is my cut business at Tottenham, just that a lot of players have been signed by Tottenham since he has been there. I bet you still have quite a large squad of proper first team players even after the players who have gone on loan. Keane going is a surprise but the rest of the ones who have gone on loan would only get a game if you have an unbelievable run of bad luck with injuries.

I always saw McDonald scoring regularly for Celtic, what's this Miller like, any ideas?

Strachan has got some decent forwards in but forgot he's lost the service of Johnson to supply them!

Same. I've always said that he would be a great player but can't believe he hasn't been given a chance.
The season before he came to us he broke into the Barcelona team, yet he can't even get a game for us?

As for Hutton, What the heck?

We are playing Corluka out of position at right back. He is way to slow to play there. And when Lennon is playing he can't make it up and down the pitch to support him.
Hutton has been playing well when he has had he's chances. Then go and loan out our only other real RB too.

Really cannot understand our transfer policy. Why are we resigning players that aren't good enough for our squad.

Also, either sell Keane or keep him. Why loan him out and replace him with a past it forward?

Worst transfer window for quite some time IMO. :mad:
