It arrived yesterday! It's a christmas present for the family but we needed to make sure it worked before being wrapped. :D

We've not mounted our TV on the wall in the middle of the living room yet so had to run the until pointing across from one corner of the room. It worked really well!!

Anyway fired up Kinect Adventures and 2 hours later was still playing, although somewhat bushed by this point. Even the mrs who doesn't do "gaming" was getting into it!

We've ordered a couple of titles for it now and are looking forward to the workout ahead... and as I said before, the kids are going to go mad for this!!

overall... so far 10/10 :)
 
Im gonna be mounting mine at about 6ft, and have about 8ft of space. Will this be ok for 2 players?

Looking at modding an old N95 windscreen mount to hold it.
 
I've read a lot of negative reviews for the PDP Kinect TV Mount Kit about it not fitting well, thinking about using Velcro Tape on my Kuro. Just not keen if it marks it.
 
We've now mounted the tv which is sitting above the fire place where there is a shelf at the top. It's perfect to the kinect to sit on as it's about 4 feet above the ground at that point and the centre of our living room has about a 10 by 10 foot space in front of the tv. :)
 
Well I went for it, traded in Wii Fit and balance board, a few old games and my Xbox Arcade and bought a new 250Gb Xbox with Kinect. Also got Kinect Sports and Dance Central. Spent a few hours on Saturday night with friends playing and it's very entertaining. Really enjoyed the track and field events :).

Are there many more Kinect games coming out in the near future?

I'm also vaguely interested in Dr. Kawashima's Body and Brain Exercises...
 
Somebody has decided to get me a Kinect for Xmas, so I'm hoping it's going to be quite good... reviews on here seem quite positive.

I think MS is putting a lot into it so I would imagine we will see quite a few games for it next year or that can use it.

It was getting numerous spots during that X-Factor final last night and those were probably some of the most expensive advertising spots this year, aside from England playing in the World Cup.
