***Official Left 4 Dead 2 Thread***

^^Happens sometimes in pub games unfortunately, which is why it helps to have games with friends. Unfortunately it's not always easy with ocuk these days as not enough regulars like to play VS. :(

Also, I am currently in the process of uploading the Dead Before Dawn campaign to the L4D1 servers. Will update the custom campaign thread (relevant to both L4D1+2 players) when finished.

Did you play with other people or just single player?

If it was single player find some friends to play with you and try Versus mode as well.

I quite like the new update, but yeh I agree that the sacraficial death could have come accross better. However I still had fun on the campaign in L4D1 (even on steve's local connection as no dedi servers were up at the time, including mine, most are running now after a quick patch from valve), and I'm looking forward to being able to use LTUK 3 tonight to play L4D2 on the same campaign.

It's free DLC at the end of the day, which allows us to use the L4D1 survivors in L4D2. Only had a quick blast of level 1 of No Mercy, but so far so good. Still up for No Mercy L4D2 Versus on Saturday evening as well. :)
 
2 servers should be running today, LTUK2 and LTUK3. Bit ill atm and busy at work as well, so haven't had time to do the others LTUK 1 is completely borked and needs a reinstall I think. Will sort out the other servers tonight. :)

Well, thanks. I was the spitter. Can't remember who the smoker was, but was a good all round attack anyway! :D

Also posting to remind people of the No Mercy game tonight as posted by Tefal. Will probs be on at 8, but may start at 9 depending how many people we have. I may have a few drinks over the course of the game. Also I'm up for Sacrafice in Versus after No Mercy. :)

Dedi updated by the way and the servers are all back up (except CSS for now), sorry to anyone who was on at the time, but Frenchtart and I have been meaning to update and restart it for a couple of weeks now while we were both around and the server wasn't too busy. Was the best time that we could see.

Perhaps I have just been unlucky, but I seem to need join 4 or 5 games or lobbies before I find a half decent one. It was nowhere near that before the update... Hopefully it will die back down once the novelty wears off.

If we get enough people on here it shud be ok. Any idiots I notice will just be kicked anyway. The bots will do their job! :p

Think it should be played as light-heartedly as possible though, don't expect to win 8v8, but likewise don't ruin it for the rest of your team either.
