The same campaign is in both L4D and L4D2? Only differences are infected/weapons?

Well this is pants, got to 77% on the l4d2 update last night, assumed when i resumed today it would be nice and quick.....presumed wrong >_<
 
The ending does look a bit crap, just shows the character getting incapped and then thats it. It should at least let you fight to the death.
 
Yeah the ending would've been nice to be a little more scripted... like running through the horde into the generator room where you find Bills corpse on The Passing rather than just getting mobbed in an incomprehensible blob of infected.

Obviously the Steve abuse has gone a bit too far :eek:

(even if it is generally his fault, I'm fairly certain he crashed Steam last night for instance) :p

Campaign seemed fairly decent, though like all the DLC a bit on the short side.

according to the comic bill starts the geni then as he goes to get back he gets punched into the room you find him in by a tank.


tbh I'd have though you start the generator but then you get the "boomed" effect on you (you know horde chasing you but not the visual part) and all the infected come after you and you can't get up to the bridge and basically it's just however long you can hold out before you run out of ammo.

rather than that ****y mobbing.
 
like everyone else had to buy was to good to refuse, I was almost going to pick it up the other day from hmv for £15. Am also getting slow speeds 50KB :(
 
After a total of 2hrs downloading today and about 4hrs downloading last night.. im finally at the mighty 99% mark on l4d2 updating, so nearly there!!!
