I have a 64GB Evo card in mine and it mounted and works without issue.

If you have tried multiple cards it kind of suggests your phone could be faulty.

^^^ Thanks for that, I kinda figured that it might be. What a bummer as it was £260 inc delivery brand new and seems great, apart from the SD card issue.

I'll need to ring them on Monday, they are shut until then. Just my luck is that they have no others in stock

Chances are I'll get a refund but that doesn't get me a G4 at a price I was ok at paying.

The only other choice is to use LG's repair / return service - using them in the past doesn't inspire me with confidence though.

in your case mate, i would use LGUP to flash stock Lollipop, then use LG Bridge to update to Marshmallow

or use LGUP to flash straight to Marshmallow

My g4 arrived today. I gave up waiting for the v10, (though it has just appeared on the lg uk website today!).

Can someone reccomend me a screen protector?

I have never had an lg before, are any of their apps any good?

What about the keyboard, should i persevere with it or try something else?

Stock one Is good but can't beat a Tempered Glass protector for clarity

I have an UltimateShield tempered glass screen protector and it seems crystal clear for me. What do you mean by "no halo"?

not a screen protector in that sense just usual one that covers the screen for transit, but doubles up as a protector nicely

some screens have a slight egde to them so glass screen protectors lift up around the edges of the phone created a "halo" effect, quite common on the Note 4 , nexus 6 etc

I'm assuming the G4 doesn't have that problem? Not having any issues with mine so far. Only problem is one bit of dust under the bottom of the screen protector, not going to bother trying to remove it.
