**** Official LG G4 Discussion Thread ****

Three insisted i go through LG after 30 days. Felt rather smug telling them that by law they can be liable for a warranty claim within at least two years.
 
well i have lost the will to live waiting for my UBIK Uno to turn up, so gone out a got a G4, enjoying it so far :) 1st phone that i have had with IF control, loving it :P

anyone added wireless charging ?

Selling my Asus Zenfone 2, which i thought was an awesome phone for its money, could not get rid of the trojan on it :(, but will miss it

Was thinking of G4 but looks like G5 will be out in 2-3 months and the leaked specs look good...
 
If it is as good as the G4 sounds, I wish they'd do a G5 compact/mini!! I love my G2, I just want a faster, more up to date version the same size!
 
The G5 will be epic but not at its release price :)

Going to wait a few months before its price drops before it becomes a worthy upgrade from the G4.

I know I keep saying it over and over again but the G4 at £300 is a phenomenal bargain for spec and value for money , ok it doesn't have a finger print scanner or front facing speakers but what other major feature does it not have ?

Edit. It also already has Marshmallow too, go LG!

Mine arrived today! (black leather) And already got a clear slim case and glass screen protector :D

But its an xmas pressie, so the other half is wrapping it up till Christmas Day. Boo! :(
 
hmm so it came and I've updated to 6.0 using lg bridge, but I can only format the memory card as portable storage and not internal? Anyone?
 
Anyone else had issues with 'phantom touches'? I could be scrolling through a webpage and the phone will act as if I've tapped on a picture, link or go back a page. It's a bit rage inducing and I'm going to RMA the phone if there's no known fix for it.
 
I get this (phantom input) sometimes on my G3. It's usually cause I have my hand or fingers curled over too much when holding it - since the bezel is so thin - or it's cause theres dirt built up on my screen. Try rubbing the screen flat against your shirt and then repositioning your grip.
 
Basically been eternally stuck on replacing the Note 3 while making sure it's actually worth the top flagship price tag. Happy with the phone but would really like a better camera and things like fingerprint scanners would be nice too along with being a little faster. This seems to tick the box nicely and have the freedom of sim only to boot, just trying to see if those ebay unlock codes work as well as Vodafone ones. I'd pay them the £19.99 to do it directly but says you need to have a sim that's been active for at least 30 days which won't be ideal to say the least.
