the stats speak for themselves
Meaningless unless we know exactly what the user was doing which is why we need controlled test for battery life.

LG: because battery life isn't everything.
I don't normally post in Mobile Phones but having had to read many of your posts I'm surprised at that comment.
The verge review say the battery life is better than the S6.
Lol. Who shall we believe. Will wait for ARS and Anandtech.

AFAIK the last time I checked GSMArena don't even normalise brightness across phones so I don't place great faith in their tests. At the end of the day I take all tests as a guide, nothing more. The expertreview only did a video playback test. As for theverge who are basing it on if it lasted the day (uncontrolled usage) I just laugh.
Whilst it's partly indicative of battery life, it is also highly dependent on the cpu states which get selected for that particular task and exactly what is in the video as lcd and amoled power consumption depends on the type.
I think gsmarena battery tests are the best, they do calling, video playback and web browsing. Anandtech do an even greater mix looking at wifi and lte browsing.
Contracts are starting to pop up now, some price comparison sites like Uswitch have started listings. Fairly good prices too, monthly fees can be very low (with high upfront cost) unlike certain other flagships. I'm currently eyeing a £31.99/m+£49.99 contract with EE for unlimited texts, calls and 5GB of 4G data. And that's not even an upgrade. Unfortunately upgrade contracts are yet to show, but I bet I can get it a tad cheaper on upgrade. Things are looking good on the pricing front.
Congratulations! You have been selected for our exclusive LG G4 campaign! Many people signed up so the selection process was quite a challenge…and you are among the 200 lucky Insiders who have been chosen to take part.
