i just hope its longer than the first
The first was long enough. Why is it that people think long = good? I prefer a game that has little faffing around and gets on with the story at a quickish pace.
i like a game with good pacing but a rpg that only lasts about 11 hours is too short imo
think of it as a 3 part rpg

Just in case people were wondering, you can nab the DDE version from EA Store for £33.74 by using the discount code VoucherCodes.com25%, which expired at the end of August last year. Ho hum.
Did the ultra-repetitive layouts for the bunkers, outposts, vessels and so on in ME1 irk anyone else?

11 hours? You're having a laugh! Did you just go from main planet to main planet and sprinting past enemies?
First play through (Veteran) took me 56~ doing everything, landing on every planet.
Second (Hardcore) took me just shy of 40 as I knew where to go.
Third (Insanity) took me around the same, shielded enemies ftl
Think I've completed it at least 7 times between 360 & PC. Love it!

Can't wait for ME2, glad they've introduced magazines for guns, combat could become 'stationary' without any driving force or consequence for hiding and waiting to pick a few off at a time.
Heavy weapons look awesome as well, should be good!
if it took you 56 hours then you must have been playing a different gamei know some people can take their tirme with a game but i cant even imagine how someone could make it last that long unless they stuck to using the starting equipment or something

Didn't skip dialogue & completed all the rare materials quests (i.e. driving round most of every planet) it all adds up.
PC play-throughs were much quick (sub 20 hours) due to hot keys + mouse aiming.
Still 3x the length of most games, not a patch on the 200 hour behemoth that was BGII.
