I am at the stage with the disabled collector ship - I had no choice but to investigate it. I assume this is different to the repear mission then?

anyone know if you can get another cerberus code because my hard drive died so reinstalled ME2 on the new one but now I'm missing out on all the Cerberus stuff and I'd rather not pay for a new code

Make sure you have all the Normandy upgrades in place, as well as finishing all the loyalty missions, or not everyone will survive the ending.

You just log in with the same username and password as before (EA Online ID).

Use the EA live chat thing, they will tell you all the stuff you need to do or strip an old email of the code and put onto a new one if you have all the details.

Literally did it 2 hours ago.
I'm taking cerebus code doesn't get you all dlc for free?

To be fair, the EA live chat is really good. They resolved a DLC payment issue I had in about 2 mins (paid with Paypal, but my points didnt show up).

If i recall, the Jack vs Mirandi and Tali vs Legion fights (that was the 1 wasn't it?) you need a fairly high rank to end it peacefully. If you don't meet the requirements then you can settle it later but that takes an even higher amount. I remember losing Tali because she wasn't loyal.

agreed, was expecting a complete pile of rubbish, long wait times and people with poor english to be honest.
Definately recommend it over emailing a company.

I never failed any companion speech challenge in this game, i never knew the consequences could be so dire. Guess it helped that i imported a paragon character and usually upgraded the class skill first chance i got.

I think it was retroactive so it wouldn't of mattered. I'm playing Infiltrator though so maxing out for Assassin asap seemed the best choice, though Assassination Cloak might've been better for all round effectiveness. Good fun wandering up to the odd enemy and bashing his skull in with melee attacks.

I lost Tali, sent her through the tube and she got her face blasted off trying to shut the door.

Think i might've lost Jack too, can't remember now.

I really need to go back on my Soldier for a bit and try out the Mattock Assault Rifle. The Phalanx is damn powerful but a little awkward on moving targets as the laser sight isn't that great. It seems better in general (if i'm not stealthed) to find my target with the crosshairs before i pop out and lose the crosshairs for the laser sight.
The Locust is absolutely epic. Its accuracy is really high even under full burst and theres very little recoil. Great to be able to stealth up, wait for an enemy to show itself, then empty the clip into its face.

Oh and the Overlord DLC was pretty sweet. That geth ship felt very creepy (albeit a predictable outcome) and the ending made you feel quite bad about things too. Kasumi DLC was pretty good fun, though it was quite short.

Definitely going to save before getting to the end. Don't want to lose anyone this time. Going to research everything and get full loyalty!

Hopefully we will still have our team in ME3.
