Thanks I'll take a look, I'm waiting for my SH5 to turn up on friday, hopefully I'll be a little more comfortable by then to move everything over at the weekend.I think you can upgrade your packages and routerBOARD firmware to 7.6 stable now.
The hAP ax3 would have been a better fit for the 2.5Gbps port on the SH5, but never mind

I must say I was a little worried how it might go! I didn't even have time to sip on a cup of coffee and BOOM it was all done.
I think they have the balance right here and most (tech savy) people could install this device without much trouble. I did find things like webfig doesn't WoW me. Also Winbox (Snap) on ubuntu (tried apt as well) just doesn't give the same pop back up experience that the Windows version does. No great shakes... it works. What else - oh yes the 5G fell over about 4 times in 12 hours. Need to look a little harder now I've updated.
The QOS It just works. As a first time buyer/User We are happy and would buy again, great product so far.
So before I go down this rabbit hole, Is it worth enabling containers and moving my pi-hole over to the AX2, not sure of space etc/ 90MB remaing logs.... blah, or just leave that for a bigger device.
@Super TigersI have a pi-hole container set up on my Mikrotik 5009 running ROS7.6, that has the 1GB of ram, I run the pi-hole on a 32GB Sandisk cruzer usb stick. Last time I checked I had 550MB of ram free on the set up. I used the info from Network Berg's Youtube video and Mikrotik wiki info to get it set up and unning nicely. I have my wireguard VPN set on my little hAP lite, this is just used for online streaming over the 2.4ghz wifi and fast ethernet for my HTPC.
The hAP AX2 does have a 1GB of ram, the same as my 5009 but I thought they would have stuck a USB port on it for external containers. I was all set to get a hAP AX2 as well but not having a USB port is a major drawback.@Super Tigers
From watching that Video the answer is NO, the device doesn't have a USB port and also the docker image is 500MB.
