Vanilla server's been a bit quiet recently. Here's a pixel art of Unikitty from The Lego Movie that my daughter asked me to build!



Any more players willing to pledge to keep the server going? Any modded server players fancy pledging?

E: Here's a sort of pic of the huge project that was the witch farm. I can't get the whole thing in due to the hollowed out area being 256x256 blocks wide, but you get an idea of scale. It's well worth a visit. There's a shortcut via the Nether transport system. Glow and redstone, gunpowder, spider eyes, glass bottles, sugar and sticks are all generated whilst you afk.

Struggling to find time to play ATM, which sucks, but hoping to get a couple hours this week.

Am also waiting for a reply on how to transfer the cash for server.
 
Does anyone have a direct link to the dynmap as the linktart site's expired? I'm trying to sort a video of the server and want to include as many large/epic builds as possible

Hahaha you know what i watched the lego movie to see about this Uni Kitty :) been meaning to watch it for a while so thank you for the nudge, great works all of them though in your Pictures :) lots of hard work has gone in to the Vanilla server.

i'm on direwolf20 1.7.10 and have made much progress well for me any way, working towards adv photonic cells, need to fill my pool, and work on the berry gardon. also need to make my house look pretty :D . just need to go hunt some endermen or ender mini's...

currently we have 30 pounds in the pot we need 45 per month
FT we can work out transfer this weekend if you want
Work is crazy for me at the moment

yes player will have input to the server and how it is run
We can go back to white list or keep perms up to players
perms make things a bit easer regards setting moders/admin players

But server will no longer be public it will become private and player can only join by request from an already listed member from the current comunity.

The server will only survive if player make sure to donate.

Do you mean transfer of server ownership or transfer the money? If the latter feel free to paypal it and then I'll send a payment to OVH. If the former then drop me a message/email and I'll start setting things in motion :)

Cool, and can we look into updating to 1.8? or even 1.9 which will come out soon, lol.

As for donating you just want people to use the linktart site & lv2 donator option?

use this site and yeah lv2 for those that pledged they will put £5 to the server cost per month. Of course any donation is welcome to help cover the cost of the server. The web site is now back to the free version so should be fine

Once we can start getting the funding in and set the rule that the community want I am more than happy to look at a way to get 1.8 or even 1.9 up and running.

FT this month i will send the funds to you as soon as it is there and then we can talk transfer of owner ship after if that is ok.

I'd really be up for updating the van server to 1.8 - I know Bukkit isn't an option anymore, but things like Spigot seem to fill the void where Bukkit once was, with similar plug-ins etc.

Lets keep the server alive!! ^_^

We are currently at 39.47 Pounds

Almost there for this month
I will start looking at the 1.8/1.9 update for the van server
I will make up a plan of action soon and see what player might like or not like on the servers.

basic idea is 3/4 server

1. Van server
2. Mod server
3. Adventure server (not sure on this yet)
4. Snapshot server (up to players we can have it open or just community but will not hold any builds it is for just seeing what is there or fixed)
