***** Official OcUK Twitch List - Important Information in the Opening Post *****

Just going live with some Fractured Space, 1st stream in a while since I had to reinstall my whole system. Will be interesting to see how the new crew system fairs since this will be the first time I've played since that was introduced along with the new drop pods.

Well last night was the most nervouse stream I've done for a while.

Finally put a webcam on the stream - no green screen or anything yet.

Now I need a new Mic, has anyone got any suggestions on a decent budget mic - Looking at a Blue Snowball?

New Twitch Streamer

Hey guys,

I hope I'm allowed to promote myself on Overclockers UK regarding Twitch.

Anyway, I'm a new Streamer and thought to ask you guys if anyone would like to follow my new channel? :)

I'm just getting started and I'm very keen to entertain everyone and simply enjoy myself doing so.

My Twitch is: LO4DEDGaming

I play various amount of games, but mostly play Day Z, Doom, Battlefield 4. But I'm open for requests :).

If there are also any new twitch users here I will follow back too

I don't understand why people have to waste their time by posting on a topic which is not in their interest. Each to their own I suppose ;) haha

EDIT: Sorry, I didn't mean this message to sound so harsh. Was meant in a friendly joking manner. Apologies

Haha I don't understand watching other people play a game by each to their own.

I'll watch a competitive BF match on twitch, it's a good way of learning tricks and tactics. It was fun watching TEAM-UK playing earlier in the year, more so as some of the players are people I know from here (And we got to hear their TS most of the time :D ).

I'm not going to just sit and watch someones twitch normally though, I'd rather be playing myself.

My kids are different though, these twitchers and youtubers are the new rock stars to them.

For me it's more to do with finding a personality that I enjoy, the games they play aren't as important as how they interact with the audience.
I look at it the same way you might listen to a podcast or radio station, quite often you may not be interested in the music they play but you might stay tuned for the general chitchat and the topics they discuss.

I'll often have a stream playing in the background on my spare monitor while I play a game myself.

I'll check out your channel over the weekend, do you have a set schedule or do you just broadcast on a whim?

So true!!!! I've never understood the draw to watch streamers, I watch youtube vids of Frankie but because I like his content as it's not really a 'stream'.

I miss couch coop games :( We recently hosted a drunk souls night. 8 of us getting insanely drunk whilst playing Dark Souls III... What a fun night. One of the best gaming nights I've had in years. And why? Because my mates were there and we were all shouting 'DRINK SUNNY D GOD DAMMIT!' to who ever was in control simply because none of us could stomach another vodka shot...

That was fun. Watching someone clear a dungeon in D3 with a few 'huh, cool, epic loot' is not fun.

@suenstar

Thank you :). Means a lot to me as I'm just getting started. This weekend I will be fully available and pretty much be streaming all weekend. I should be on after 1-2pm.

As I work in retail it's difficult to have a proper schedule but I'd say I was online frequently 7pm or after.

I'm just getting used to streaming so I still need to build a bit of confidence so hopefully you will still enjoy watching :).

Thanks again!

im just starting to stream but id appreciate all the love if possible, i will be sorting out some more styles and ideas and making it more show orientated i hope!
Added you l to follow so I'll pick up some tips from you guys. I'm also after any tips or ideas that anyone has
