Yes Try it with XP, Clean, chipset, ATi drivers on Saphire CD only

Clean XP(32bit) with chipset & Saphire Drivers seems ok, no lag gliches so far:confused:.
To Test I ran HL2 Lost Cost Stress Test and got avg 192fps maxxed out at 1280/1024 which shows its working.
The drivers with vista/7 is what the conflict is. Should I wait for 9.10 drivers? Or try 32bit vista/7 . I have 6bg of ram but xp as you know only shows 3bg, it is also tri channel so i don't know how it is affecting/bottleneck it:o

I find it hard to believe all the drivers You tried were incompatible, At least We have proved the the hardware.
Down to You now to find out if any of those drivers were the cause, or the first one you installed was leaving problems behind for the subsequent ones !

Glad Your up and running :)

\o/ my saphire 5850 installed and playing and I am pleased to report I can actually tell the differance between this and my previous 4870 512.

Just got to make the effort to install windows 7 on the new crucial SSD now.

9.10 for xp 32bit? I tried the 9.10 beta i.e 8.66rc6&7 for vista/7 64bt and they caused blank displays.

Edit - I'm glad that getting up & running also:D
p.s I tried Saphire drivers from fresh install & 9.10 betas from fresh formatted installs on both vista&7
