Yup. It's not just that though - without spoiling anything I'll just say that the start of the game is quite abrupt and the way you're asked to complete your first task is near enough what they've written in the PA comic.

Think i will wait till friday to get the full experience, but the gun play seems very fun and god it looks stunning in places.

Same thoughts here really. It seems hugely fun but I imagine it will be a lot more enjoyable to play once a patch and/or newer drivers hit.

Friday is the proper release date for the game. It is also reasonable to assume that some more drivers/patches will have been released by then.

The video gameplays show similarity between borderlands imho. Interesting what eurogamer said in their review...

According to this Bethsda advice AMD users not to use the latest AMD Rage drivers, due to issues.

This information is old and out of date. There were two driver releases yesterday. The first release was the one to stay away from.

I wonder what AMD drivers they tested this game with then?, if they actually did test RAGE on pc?

Can I ask the guys that have this is there a Rage64.exe installed?
So it's like borderlands and FO3

and there is no crossfire or Sli support.. not good..

I think I will wait till it's £5.

Oh god they really didn't test it.

On the surface the textures are OK, I've added the caching folder but that does bugger all and you still get the horrible buffering/streaming issue when you move around quick, but in the sewers the texture corruption is horrendous! It's virtually unplayable and hurts my eyes, what the hell? Never, ever had this problem with a game.

This is running the updated 'Rage' driver, but I might roll back to 11.8 again like I did yesterday.

How could they get this so wrong?

It's the norm these days..you only have to look at CM to know that.
Lets hope Skyrim does not have the same problems(but I think it will).

Trying to play other games but keep quitting as i'm not enjoying as i bloody want to play this lol.
