Anyone else getting 30 fps when in a vehicle? Guessing it's meant to be like that. Running at 60 fps everywhere else. But coming off a vehicle it sits on 30 fps for a second or two, then jumps back up. Using the fix to get 8k textures

I can't spoil it but talk to people and get on those side missions, you get rewards
The shop keeper will also sell you a monocle scope which can be used as a gun scope

Indeed they are being sneaky, but im glad they are doing itMeans when my copy arrives i should in theory be able to tweak and get it running smoothly from the off

mines started doing that but it never used to so i dont get it
yup ive had no problems running any games on max or almost max with 2-4x AA.

4gb ram.
ive had my 460 since back when they cost around £180 so its served me well, i dont see me needing to upgrade for atleast another year if games continue to be strangled by consoles

Can I ask, what settings do you have? And are you forcing 8k all the time, or using the auto balancer?

did the same to me well i got 3fps
but the game looked worse imojust tghe 8192 texture settings alone make the game look loads better and stopped my popin textures

Even then, still getting 30 fps in vehicles. Oh well. It's not too bad. Only slightly noticeable.

its more like fallout meets halflife2 imo.
largeish world with people to talk to and get quests off , the game doesnt really have a storyline its about the journey like halflife2 was.
i found borderlands really boring so if you didnt like borderlands dont assume you wont like rage

I swear 50% of the posts in this thread are either people saying it's like Fallout 3 and Borderlands or asking if it's like Fallout 3 and Borderlands.
I didn't like fallout or borderlands, way too RPG focused for my liking. Rage is a lot more than that, it's primary is an FPS shooter and it does that really well. Combat system is fast paced and enemy AI is quite dynamic. gametrailers.com summed it up perfectly in their review.
The combat pace is more in line with Half-Life 2 really while adding RPG elements like building/upgrading inventory and weapons and picking up bits along the way through quests and salvage.
It really is a mixture of a lot of genres from both film and gaming.

yea ive answered the same question about 10 times.
its like borderlands only in the setting is similar, the borderlands gameplay was horrible though imo.
its more like madmax meets halflife 2 with buggies instead of cars and motor bikes
