***Official Rift Planes of Telara Thread***

I've just started and the lowbie areas are a little sparse but thats to be expected really, there have always been people to join up with to do rifts which is the main thing i guess.

reallywant to be 50 for this but doubt I will be even close and knowing my luck will probably be away from home when it happens :p

More info for you :)

The event starts on the 30th March, the event happens in every zone, so every level can participate in at least some way towards the event (the final battle is in a top zone)... oh and the event lasts for 1 week and culminates on the 6th of April. :)

Buh bit gutted about the timescales. Only home the weekend during the event and it's a weekend where I have to dig up the whole bloody garden, build a new bed and attend an ante-natal class with the missus.

Will probably see nothing of the event, even more annoying I'm off for 3 days and home alone the whole time The day after the event finishes :( delay it a week damn you Trion!!!!!

I have to say that 1 month in - I'm becoming a bit addicted to this game...

This is something that hasn't happened since the days of DAoC (and perhaps the first 4-5 months of WoW going live).

I've been levelling up 95% in WF which stuits my playing style right now. The Xp is a lot slower that PvE'ing, but I'm having a lot of fun.

Due to this, my guild is going to start recruiting again. The bulk of the Guild play on Steampike (PvE), but a small number of us set up on Shivermere (Guardian side).

So if you are looking for a Guardian Shivermere guild, head over to the forum and post an application.

Although our number is currently small on Shivermere, we have players ranging from level 5 to 45. My main is currently in the low 30s (Playtime).

Guys !! Look its the enemy !!

Hehehe, wonder if I have fought you in the WFs :)

Got to level 20 last night, didnt take long at all. Quite enjoying my char, am a cleric with primary in warden as well as some in inquisitor and cabalist. Can solo very nicely as usually just 1 hot is enough to keep me topped up and i have one spell ona 45s cooldown which heals virtually my whole life. Am doimg very well in WF too, usually have highest healed stats and rarely die.

How long did it take for you to level up to 20? im 11 and started last friday. been playing maybe 4 or 5 hours

Not very long at all, game got installed saturday morning. Played a couple of hours if that during the day then around 4 hours in the evening. About 5 hours sunday evening too.

I still can't make my mind up with this, I think my biggest worry is that it running like a dog on my spec. I've seen people in this thread with i7's and beasty GFX cards who said their FPS drops to 15 in raids.

I've got a q6600, 4gb ram and gtx 460 and it runs fine on my pc - even in massive invasions, dungeons, rifts or general questing. i've not messed with the settings, I left it on default and play at 1920x1080. I have lag spikes (which are getting much better) but nothing that's stopped me from playing.
