***Official Rift Planes of Telara Thread***

I've only got a poor old 4850 though, don't want to spend £100 on a new card to play one game. :(

Buy it, see how it goes. You can always cancel the sub after 30 days. I'm sure you will be able to play it fine, maybe not maxed out. Wait a month for patches/ati drivers. Sorted.

If it does go really bad with crappy FPS even on low. You can always upgrade! Future proof for GW2/BF3 :p

As I say, the game scales well, your 4850 will run it. Just fiddle with the sliders , move them down a bit and scale them up until you reach something thats fine for you.

You wont be able to play it with everything max'ed but you can certainly run it.

It will work fine and look good.

After people have been playing this for 30mins on max settings with monster PCs, I'm sure even them forget about the graphics a little :)

There's all kinds of things that can affect RAIDS, I would imagine your internet speed might.

I got it off Steam too! You should be ok I play on 'High' settings with AA and Vsync on and I average at 35-55 fps except in Iron Tombs where it can drop to 25, but coming off the back off DC universe on the PS3 I wouldn't care if it ran at 10fps, that was horendus!! MMO's are not made for consoles!

Sweet, if it runs smooth enough I probabaly wont bother getting the 5850 but whilst I've got the cash and OcUK are doing them at a great price and can't really see an issue!

Downloading pretty fast on steam, hope there isn't another 78GB of patches to download like there was on WoW though!

Not much at all, maybe 1gb in total. You could be on tonight. :D
