Restored windows image, and definitely more frequent pauses (tpu memtest + realbench + occt), but none of the lengthy ones.

So, will probably go down route of full install at some point. Just not now.

For now I'm calling it stable passing 3 hours occt and 9 hours tpu memtest, and hopefully that will translate to gaming, encoding and general usage stable.

I'd call that stable mate. 10/10 for your perseverance.

Found this if it's of any use?

Well, i know I said I was going to leave windows issues, but I can't sleep when things like this on my mind.

have found one program that definitely causes issues. Drivermax, which was handy for not having to look around for updates to obscure components, but it's going now, despite having paid two year sub, as it doesn't have an option to not run at startup.

Also, looks like bitdefender. Not as severe as Drivermax, but still causing enough stutters to merit looking in to.

Though I did install allwaysync at same time as bitdefender, so should double check that.

Shouldn't have installed more than one thing at a time, but it takes so long installing one thing, rebooting, running a stress for a few minutes, etc, repeat.

4.050G + 3333Mhz CL14. Auto seconds and thirds for now.

Working on tightening memory then lowering voltage.

Any higher on the CPU frequency and i have to drop the memory frequency.

Your latency is lower than mine but read speeds and write speeds are a fair bit lower.
Is Bank group swap enabled?

Ensure you use the latest Beta of AIDA. It's still getting changes.
Also, you can kinda ignore the latency reading, use it as a very rough guide only. Run it multiple times and you can get big differences, I've had swings of 6ns.
Bandwidth readings are usually good though.

so close...

About 3 things left to install.

Drivermax is definitely staying off.

Bitdefender has been replaced with Webroot Secureanywhere

Turns out procodt 60 is a bit better than 53.

And seems a bit better with Sense mi skew auto rather than disabled - only settings I have tweaked since stability testing yesterday.

Not saying it is completely without pauses - but they are occasional now rather than near constant.

Think Chrome can be an occasional offender as well

Its all coming together now :p
Chrome has black screened for me in the past but that was down to my overclocks not being 100% or using a performance bias.

Actually, haven't seen anything resembling a black screen for a while now.

Not running lengthy tests though. Thank god the issues I'm weeding out now can be picked up in fairly short runs...

Still taking nearly a day :/

At least I know my future primary restore image will be clean, so issues from now on are hardware.

Still need to do gaming and encoding testing to ensure final stability

This has been exhausting.

I have certainly learned a lesson. Keep away from new hardware if you value time and your DEL key on your keyboard :p

I'll check that out thanks :)

NP :).

Both BankGroup options are disabled, this is literally 3333Mhz Auto timings with 14-14-14-34-1 with Geardown disabled.

BankGroupSwapAlt leave at [Auto], that is current state of play.

It may save you time on tweaking down timings by using The Stilt's DDR4 timings in OP of my OCN thread, section RAM info.

My kit of F4-3200C14D-16GTZ needed slight slacking of tRAS from 28 to 34, tRC 54 to 60, tFAW 36 to 39 and tRFC from 333 to 373, for his timings to pass repeat HCI Memtest 2x ~7hrs. Also sound for ~40hrs f@h /2x 5 loops IBT AVX custom 13312MB / Y-Cruncher.

Busy creating my backup image finally!

Need to do some game testing and encoding testing still, but I need to sleep now so the former can wait til later and the latter can happen overnight.
