That would be a bios issue and nothing to do with the Chipset drivers.

I was able to get 3333cl14 pretty much stable, but had to use pretty lose sub timings for it. Now running 3200-14-13-13-13-26-40-1T with much tighter sub timings. I think I'll use these settings 24/7. Overall I'm extremely happy how my system and 2R memory performs. :)

Key things for me in memory stability were geardown disabled, BGS disabled, BGSA enabled. Unfortunately some boards just dont have those settings. I had to use a custom bios to get the x370 prime pro stable!

its all good fun, managed to upgrade graphics card slighty today, bought a gigabyte radeon hd 7950 3gb for £40 until i can afford a 1060 6gb.
at least its better than a zotac gts450 1gb that i was using lol

Two people now have suggested taking the cmos battery out. Have you tried this?

It may not be necessary to put in a new one but as @Ste has suggested just power down, unplug, take it out for a few minutes, press the power switch to discharge any residual power, replace the battery, plug back in and restart.

i have mentioned a few times that i have already taken cmos battery out.
i will give it another go by all means when i power down and shall reboot tomorrow

simple answer to that, no.
what does load optimised defaults ?

It just sets everything to default values. It's recommended you do it before and after flashing. So set defaults, flash, set default and save and reboot back to bios and then put your settings in. Always done it this way and seem to have way less issues.
