yea latest and Non Bricking bios.
Oki just
Rebooted Saved OC profile ------reset all V setting to auto
Rebooted and check V ---Still at prevous value
Reset cmos loaded bios Values on auto and normal.

Thing is previous to this i was tryna get ram over 2133 with no joy. Each attempted i was Cmos resetting and reloading profiles. I don't fully understand enoth to give a reason but it seems like a failed OC and a cmos wipe. Dose not fully clear setting (even thou it should) Voltage offset accumulating Or possably a safeboot

G.Skill TridentZ 3200 c14
Current BIOS is F2 (most recent for this board unfortunately)

So far it posts and boots into Windows as quickly as my primary system, so no issues like some people are having where it takes forever. It also seems to recognize and apply the XMP profile on my RAM to get it running at 3200 c14, based on what the BIOS and CPU-Z tells me. I haven't tried overclocking in the BIOS much yet, as I'm unfamiliar with it and haven't figured out how to correctly set the voltage, but when I did try setting it to 3.9GHz and rebooted to BIOS it looked to have slowed my RAM speed down.

When I overclocked with the AMD Ryzen Master utility in Windows it appears to leave my RAM at 3200, but I'm not sure yet. So far I've bumped it to 3.9GHz @ 1.30v, but I haven't tried any real stress testing or tweaking yet, just set it to that and ran Cinebench a few times to see if it would go at all or crash immediately. I'll have more time to play with it tonight.

Just managed to shoe horn the H110i into my NZXT S340! 5 out of 8 screws fitted lol. It will do a trip :)

I am very impressed considering it's a 8C16T monster!!!

Actually I think I just need to leave this on stock and go start harassing Asus on their forums to get act together.

Chances are whatever stable Oc I achieve now will change with updates.

Plus, I don't want it sitting at 4ghz unnecessarily all the time.

I may let it finish its current run of 1hr realbench where curious if can maintain 3.95 at 1.35v

Lovely build, looks really good. Currently looking to build a Ryzen system and that case looks very nice.

Strangely WoW seems smoother on the 1700X than on the 4930K, Which is odd as the IPC advantage shouldn't really be noticeable in game and the game is threaded about as well as a GCSE sowing project.
I was about to post that WoW fps is smoother and thats in3D even tho i went from 175 to 162 in cinebench single core

wow thanks AMD for the +20 temp offset... I wish this info came out when the chip did... If that was the case i wouldn't have had to re seat my water block twice thinking i was suffering from the longscrewgate situation... :(

Taking the 20c off makes much more sense... seems 2x 240 dual rads maybe over killl :)

Same here I'm testing testing testing [email protected] vcore and like **** must be bad tim. Reapplied 81c lol so by that infor im at 62 under torture tests...

On other hand think i gotten some poor cpu again... not stable at [email protected].. Guess NEEDS MORE VOLTS !!!
Other thing is weird i cant boot with memory at 3000@100bclk but it runs fine at 3007 with 113bclock. This bothers me most since i cant get PState Overclock going as if i change bclk to 113 then pstate oc does not work AT ALL.
And thats on G.Skill Samsung 3000 15/16/16/36 kit

Tempted to swap 1700x for 1700 tbh. Paid more for better oc and got less ?? Will see how it goes.

Ill try MORE VCORE to get 4ghz stable i guess with new temperature confirmation. Im happy to run it till 75c while stress testing :]

I would get a 1800X if you want to squeeze everything possible out of the chip. 1800X are the best binned CPUs and whilst there's not a lot between any of them, on average 1800X should achieve the highest frequency at the lowest voltage.

Volts i don't care since it just needs to last till ZEN 2 comes out :D. TBH 4000-4050 is where i'm aiming with this chip as its more or less performance of my 5820k but MOAR CORZZZZ

ATM i just cant get my head around why i cant boot up with memory at 3000@100bclk but works rock solid with 113. Would not bother me but as i cant use power state overclock with BCLK. Or I'm a massive noob and dont know how to use it ??? When i change bclk setting then cpu reverts to 3600mhz
