gavin, I think you need to do a test that is actually timed, so you can actually physically check it with a stopwatch to confirm it is/isn't faster in reality.

new memory and ryzen OC testing with new updates for CH6
he was able to clock ryzen to 4.1Ghz, and the memory OC seem to be fine he went to 3200mhz without trying any higher, and another video some guy made 3600mhz with gaming comparaison.

New SuperFlower PSU came in yesterday. Since on promo and my was 9 years old and had coil whine. Could not resist that 650w platinum on this week only and Boom. I'm not going SLI ect so it is good enough. Ran Realbench stress for 7Hours on new 1002 bios where i cant post at 3000memories due to T1 and Hynix... But I'm on almost 2784 with timings 13/14/14/32 Full stable and that gave me 10 more in CB. Not tried pushing it more yet.
So all nice and super stable with new psu and new bioss. Rendered so far 6 hours of footage from last night

Its because he has AMD Master open, it heats up the CPU at idle.
Thats what im using.

Out of being bored, I have undervolted base clock of 3.2Ghz to 0.936 volts and run reabench H254. Peak temp 38 degrees on air!
I was messing around with my OC and found I get about the same results on custom water up to about 1.32 vcore. I thought I broke something

Really really wish I could be doing the same!!! My oc'd 7850k is really holding back my GTX 1070. (Everything plays great, I just know it would be a lot better lol)I've just joined the club!
Good here too. My 1700X is at 3700mhz with GTX 1070 and GTA V seems much much better compared to my previous FX-8350 (4ghz) AND GTX 970. I've set MSAA to the max setting and fps doesn't drop below 60 at 1080p. On my AMD FX even if I set the MSAA to X2 it would ocasionally drop below 60.
Isn't that lower than XFR turbo? (which gets disabled when the CPU is overclocked).

I not sure if XFR is across all cores tho?
I think it is, but I'm happy with the temp/performance balance so I'll just leave it at that until I need more performance, which I don't think I will as I'm already very impressed with it.
