Honestly if I can get 60-75FPS stable I'm a happy camper in any game, not like I'm a skilled twitch shooter player!

For me it's minimising dips that's more important than maximising peaks.

For Star Citizen i agree, i do play some FPS tho and i like 120 minimum for that, 165Hz screen.

Looks like a lot of stuff I've missed since being away such as the polaris being released?

More server meshing tests?

Some other new ships, IAE and a full wipe incoming?

Have you played much sc these past few weeks? How's the stability overall?

Might need your help to help me do this save Stanton event? Apparently we get account bound weapons as a reward? Or will these weapons get wiped also?

The account bound weapon will not get wiped, its forever, i have about 5 account bound weapon rewards now.

So far 3.24.3 seems very nice, performance is up massively from PTU, i think maybe they had a crap tonne of debug code running and it was choking my CPU.

Edit: its more than 5, its 7. I just realised all but one are Luminallia Calendar day rewards, i think, if i remember rightly there are 12 Luminalia days so it starts on December 12 or 13. Its Christmas presents from CIG, that's why the weird green / red colours, other than the Demeco, who knows what they were thinking with that.

Haha yeah considering where at I just can't see it happening with how delayed this last years worth of updates that never made it into the game etc and even them cutting so much from 4.0.

I would have agreed if they had got in game what they said from Citcon last year in over the last 14 months but they didn't get close. So 2028 realistically seems more viable.

We've heard it all before for 12yrs so shall see but since we missing 60% of the last 14 months of features noted would come they need to release of them and everyone in th 4.1 patch which deffo won't be Feb as they will spend 6 months planning it all again. But Q1 patch is generally end of March/early April.

Also SM very very basic version working. Will be another year developing it to any reasonable level and then another year to get it dynamic to some extent. Then a few years to clean all these new features up and clean out bugs.

It's taking 18 months at least to make SQ42 bug free and cleaned up and you really think the MMO side will take less time with more features added?
 
I wouldn't say sm is basic lol it hasn't been done like this before.

Nah as in the vision from what SM is now to the what is required to really make it the game it claims it wanted to be etc is still miles apart, it is a version, a tier 0 where actually numbers of players per server have reduced in current builds compared to live servers for example whilst they are trying to make work in EPTU etc.

I don't believe in them surprising us ever tbh.
