13:13 - Ship Shape: Argo
17:35 - MVP with Tyler Witkin
19:26 - Behind the Scenes: ???

Whatever you're doing, if you've not seen the behind the scenes, drop everything immediately! (if you're holding a small child, give them a few years, they'll fully understand! :D)

If they've got this ready to tack onto an AtV episode, it makes you wonder what they've got for Gamescom if this hasnt made the cut :

Cool stuff, might have to dust the cobwebs off my Connie and give the latest build a whirl.

Are they showing at Gamescom or just doing their own event again?

They're going to live-stream the whole floor throughout Gamescom. The original plan was no big show/event but to bring some known streamers over with them and i suspect throughout they'd have mini-announcements like at 11am, 2pm & 5pm where they'd unveil something new, and they'd have streamers filling those gaps with their usual activity and with CIG giving away ships throughout, too.

However only a couple of weeks ago they decided they had enough material to warrant having a proper broadcast event at the night, like we see with PAX, CitCon and past Gamescom events... so if the surprises are being saved for the big event, i'd imagine the daily streams will be less impressive than intended - possibly to the point of it seeming pointless flying people in to simply do what they'd do from home any other day.

The meaningful live event is set for Fri 19th at 8pm, which means i wont see this or the football that night, cos i'll have relatives round for the depressing anniversary of me getting another year older  x3

Im pretty sure the procedural planets & landings will be one highlight, its the perfect time seeing as they're in Germany, like SQ42 showcased at CitCon last year. After that, who knows. With CitCon only 8 weeks after Gamescom they need 2 shows worth of content without having too much of it being very similar to the previous event (they both had a multi-crew demo last year which were pretty similar, but a first showing and an updated showing didnt feel repetitive), so while they could have ProcGen and SQ42 stuff, they wont want to lose stuff they'd planned for 10/10 (11th i think this year, the first time its not been held on 10/10).

How much of this game is actually playable? Last time I looked into it, I think you could walk round the hanger and that was it.

I ended up buying it, I just went with the cheapest package with the Mustang Alpha. The game is incredibly atmospheric, having said that I played it solidy for about 2 days and as far as I could tell had done most of what is on offer for now, at least playing by myself.

I've watched a few videos around it also and although I was fully aware it was nowhere near finished they do seem to focusing on 'odd' things considering the game is so far from completion. The big deal made about the new entering/exiting cockpit animations for example, great and look brilliant but the previous animations would surely be fine as placeholders whilst more content was pumped in. I just assume the people doing that were simply dedicated for that task.

I look forward to seeing how it progresses.

I'm going to be on from 9PM tonight, i'll be in Pagan TS and OcUK Discord.

Damn it, you should have posted on the pagan forum, I posted the other day and no one replied bar Halfmad.

Watched a film with mrs instead .

I also tried the event thing on there but failed at that by the looks of it :(

We really need to sort out a better way of organizing meets.

Anyway, i made this Constellation walk around a while a go but never got round to uploading it.

Its a closer look at some of the detailing.

Agreed, I'm hoping we can just settle on the 9pm UK time /Friday slot to be honest, even if it's just a meet up and chat on TS before diving into another game these days.. been too often now that I've organised an SC night only to have a new patch released minutes before I'm due to play :)

9PM Friday is good for me :)

Right, 2.5 is about to go to the first wave of PTU, NDA is lifted for 2.5 from here on out.

So i will have some screen shots of 2.5 here after the latest patch lands in about 2 hours or so.

I have to say i'm surrprised at how fast we got this one stable this time round, just a couple days ago it was unplayable and we haven't had it long.
