I Appear to have solved it!
Windows don't like me having a linux drive attached at the same time
Removed the linux drive so just the windows drive was on and ding!. On most of the evening without issue.
think this is about the tenth time you've solved it now.Next week worzel sacrifices a cat to the PC gods.

Hey everyone any insight on my video below?
Basically whats happening is im playing Vanduul swarm and sitting around 60-130fps and out of no where a few times per game i will drop to 20 for a few seconds and then spring back to 60-130
I know that the cpu core 3 is at 100% at some points and that it should be disabled, however this does not seem to be the cause of my issue as i get this with core 3 on or off.
The frame drops at around 45 seconds in the video and then suddenly jumps back to 100+ around 52 seconds.
Any thoughts?

Thanks pal! So i just went to take some more screenshots and have been mentally disturbed for the rest of my life..... the facial animation when firing a weapon is... disturbing.

but it's a massive patch with more than just planetary landing.
