I have way to much going on in the gaming world atm! I actually cancelled my switch pre order and am going to get one at the end of the next month. NieR came out (almost finished that though!) now mass effect that I'm loving despite its reviews (sensationalistic reviews for clickbait/views imho) a new great patch for Diablo. And now this. Will be on Saturday night 100% though! Will set this downloading when I get home :)

First time I gave Star Marine a blast it felt really hollow and the biggest problem was lag etc so I haven't played since the update though and maybe trying it out now they have regional servers up may be better.
 
Finally got around to installing this game, will give it a go! well in 44 Min's time.

Only have Mustang Omega : AMD Edition and 7 so not sure what I can do in game .

I have the same ship, its good for racing and not bad for combat if you're an experienced pilot, the problem with it for combat is the fixed wing mounted weapons, they are not easy to use.

it has a value of $55 you can upgrade it for free to the 300i which is a very nice ship but difficult to live with for a new player, a much better ship is the Avenger Titan which is $60 and will only cost you $5 to upgrade.
A word of warring, IF YOU DO THIS IT CANNOT BE UNDONE, if you want to keep the Omega don't use it to upgrade, buy another ship, the Mustang Alpha is a good cheap starter ship as it has nose mounted gimballed weapons.

*Reasons you might like to keep the AMD Mustang Omega: its limited edition, it was never on sale and it never will be, as they get upgraded they become rare, it might be nice to have a rare limited edition ship, its why i'm keeping mine :)

Cheers for info, definitely will not upgrade it, still not played the game, not sure why I feel no pull to play this game, always felt was to much of as cash grab I think, not that I want to start that debate.

You may be able to get a refund or sell the account on later for profit, not all is lost :P
 
Cutlass is a nice boat :) i believe being or just been reworked ( hard to remember with so many ships ) don't forget though you can always trade it in and get something else with your money or Part ex for a more expensive ship :)

2.6.2 should be live to public in the very near future. Maybe you should check it out then? If not i would definitely do so in 3.0

I sold my AMD mustang about a year ago now I think. Ended up making my lti bounty package free and making profit on top. I am more than happy to wait another couple of years for them to get this game right, at least it has not cost me anything :)

Though it would be nice to play squadron 42 part of the game this year, but not holding my breath. It was meant to be released last year, still not heard anything about it.

Thanks guys. Will give her a test flight over the summer when I upgrade to something that can actually play the game!

Every time I pop in here over the years, the game seems to be 2 years away, but my guess is 2020 for full Star Citizen release :p

Really want to play Squadron 42, I am hoping we get it by end of this year.
