Looking forward to Vulkan being implemented, when performance Isn't server bound, Vulkan will really help lighten the load on graphics cards. This is going to be one hell of a demanding game!
I read an article on wccftech (i know I know..) that it has beenIs Vulkan actually confirmed?
Very very early alpha, you can get a game package via the websiteConfused by this.... when is this due? Are you guys just playing through some Alpha/Beta builds?
In a move that isn't hugely surprising given the developer's announced support for Linux and Windows 7, a Star Citizen developer has confirmed that the game will be dropping support for DirectX entirely going forward in favour of the Vulkan graphics renderer.
Common sense prevails

Thanks for the heads up, I guess I'll just keep hold on to my cash a little while longer yetNo, unfortunately the Vanguard is not available for purchase at the moment, not sure why RSI pulled it from purchase, although if memory serves I bought it during a special sale period. I'm sure it'll come back eventually.
3.0 within a fortnight? Really?Patch 2.6.3 published to PTU, just small but urgent bug fixes. Including the horrific pip issues. ( hopefully no bucc nerf)
3.0 Schedule report will be live " very soon " probably within a fortnight.
Winning.
