******Official Star Citizen / Squadron 42 Thread******

Looking forward to Vulkan being implemented, when performance Isn't server bound, Vulkan will really help lighten the load on graphics cards. This is going to be one hell of a demanding game!

I appreciate the Vulcan call :) no idea of when it will be implemented though. Might actually be able to catch you for a game next weekend pal given that it's going to be a long one :D I've been having a lot of fun in a fixed wing buccaneer :D

It's absolutely death with some engines bolted onto it.

It's currently early in alpha :) were expecting a large patch later this year though. And probably the start of the single player game too.

Vulkan is confirmed :)

@pete910

In a move that isn't hugely surprising given the developer's announced support for Linux and Windows 7, a Star Citizen developer has confirmed that the game will be dropping support for DirectX entirely going forward in favour of the Vulkan graphics renderer.

Did you know about this?

Is that available to buy now? I'm not too up on the ships, I just have the mustang alpha, but I have an urge to get one more

No, unfortunately the Vanguard is not available for purchase at the moment, not sure why RSI pulled it from purchase, although if memory serves I bought it during a special sale period. I'm sure it'll come back eventually.

Thanks for the heads up, I guess I'll just keep hold on to my cash a little while longer yet

Patch 2.6.3 published to PTU, just small but urgent bug fixes. Including the horrific pip issues. ( hopefully no bucc nerf :D:D:D)

3.0 Schedule report will be live " very soon " probably within a fortnight.

Winning.
