******Official Star Citizen / Squadron 42 Thread******

After falling for the Buccaneer but still besotted with the Freelancer i have to start saving and gradually adding funds to my account again, i want to have my Bucc and Freelancer!

This has go me reacquainted with an old friend, the Space Penguin, (Aegis Avenger Titan) it actually feels and sounds better now than it ever did, its also seems more effective with its nose Gatling chewing up pirates nicely.

Its still a great entry all-rounder, tho it could do with some Gimballs under its Bulldog Repeaters, i added them in this short video.

creators update + power cut has rendered me frustrated tonight. however we've got a new member in the org so we've got that going for us lol

That video looks very smooth btw humbug!

The reality is that we're still making edits. After that, Chris has to approve the final cut, the show has to be exported, then uploaded to YT where it will undergo processing. It will still be a couple hours if not more. If you are waiting up for ATV, the standard refrain applies: "Go to sleep, it will be here in the morning." - see you guys in the morning

It was worth the wait.

3.0 Schedule report update today too :)

I love you! going to watch it now! i have filmed my footage for 4 amours going to skip the base armours that are just colour changes as will take way too long done the stock one of them and Achilles heavy, MCA-MK2 and ORC.Mkx so far. Got two more to do at olisar and i think 4 at grim :)

The horrifying moment you see them creating UI components in Flash!

Love this insight into the dev work. Makes me want to fire up my 3D tools and get back into it. Their attention to the small details is phenominal.

It absolutely is! it helps a lot that Chris Roberts is a absolute perfectionist. He even makes sure we get perfectly rounded bottoms. Work begins on the video :p

reminded myself of this classic.

Does anyone have a decent set of mouse sensitivity and dead zone settings? I can't aim for toffee again and I wonder if its due to the mouse not quite moving quick enough and also the deadzoen before the ship moves seems quite large... It could be because I'm crap, but I'd rather not like to think about that reality.

I personally just use stock, ive found that since several user cfg features stopped working my aim got worse i believe this is related somewhat to my frames per second. Are you using Gimbals or no? If you are you might want to try (if your mouse is capable of this) to set up a on the fly DPI adjuster and have a lowish setting for fine tuning/keeping pips on target and a faster setting for getting moving. Ships do start to move with any movement however the further you point the more fuel will be provided to the maneuvering thrusters. This will vary between ships too.

Some noob took Floppy Poppy's Starfare out for a test fight, without permission and then crashed it into a ring, you can't hear me but i seen it coming and got out just in time, Floppy Poppy got his revenge.
