*Official* Star Wars the Old Republic: Guild recruitment

Dark Side - PVP-RP

I guess I'm stuck with Tombstone :(

You bunch of light-hearted wusses who can't deal with the mighty force of the Dark Side make me laugh inside, *evil laugh*

On the plus side for you, given that it will be several months after release before I consider buying you wont be stuck with me ;)

Signed up.

My only request is to play as Republic. After that PVE, PVP, makes no real difference I'll adapt. The only thing I would say from WoW experience, I tended to find a more mature community on RP servers.

Ours is more a small, friendly base of people who've known each other for a very long time and have played a plethora of MMOs over the past 14~ years at hardcore levels but casually too, good players, no fuss, not a single moment of drama.

Sounds very similar to XSGamers. Tackling lots of games, either MMO's, FPS, RTS etc as a bunch of friends. Levelling as slow or as fast as we like, just enjoying the ***** & giggles getting there.

It's the best way imho.

so its basi cly not an ocuk guild or its name would be decided already sounds like your bnasicly using the ocuk community to get yourself a bunch of guild members

Its an OcUK guild, it is set up from the community and run by the community, we don't have a name yet as that is again, being decided by the community. I'm not doing this for myself, I'm rallying OcUK members together to play this game and have fun together.

I'm deeply sorry if I have offended you in anyway but as far as I can see, I don't see how you can claim it isn't an ocuk guild...

No they are trying to form a community to make it better for Overclocker members.

They aren't taking people away from overclockers, just making it more organised and easier for people to communicate with one and other. Something that has already been done on a smaller scale already. It's just that this brings everyone together.

I bookmarked the new site and will sign up closer to release, being a Guild Wars veteran but never really played any mmos before, had a very small guild so never got to see much of the end game areas and group PvP. I don't want to miss out this time.

My only worry is finding to people to group with, when people are unfamiliar with other members they tend to stick to favorites and some miss out. I just hope I find a similar player at least, love to read the dialog story etc but like to take on the elite/hard stuff and dabble in PvP. Shall see I guess.

LoKiS, When it comes to MMO's with myself, If i'm on, i'm always willing to group up and quest or pvp or basically do whatever tickles our fancy at the time. I'm probably gonna be on a lot as well so there will be me! :)

Was going to look at joining myself, but upon looking at the forums it seems Republic (maybe Imperial) and PVE servers are the front runners at the moment. I loathe PVE servers and would rather Imperial, so if its the same come release i'll be looking elsewhere.
