Cole > Evra. No question IMO.
Yup, Evra is VERY good, but Cole is very good attacking and defensively. Evra is like a lot of left backs, better in attack, IMO of course.

Kyrgiakos has apparently been told he's not wanted by Hodgson. If he goes we'll have a back four of Agger, Skrtel, Carragher and Johnson and Kelly to cover the lot of them

Makes sense for Jol. He delivered at Ajax and has now been undermined by his chairman, he can't achieve much else than he has there.
With Fulham he gets to try his talents in a superior league where he feels at home with the chance to really prove himself. Good luck to him, but he can only take Fulham so far with their limited resources/potential.

I'm not sure he'll be able to do much at Fulham at all tbh if he doesn't get a good transfer budget behind him and stays for a few years.
