He must be considered homegrown by now too which helps. I dont think he will be a starter but I hope he has enough about him to be backup.

My brothers mate gets £10k a week as a footballer and that shocks me as I've known him since he was about 4.
Good appointment that, hope it's not true though was hoping for an easy visit to the cottage this season especially with it being our second game of the season

Yup, been hearing that since the day after Jol - the thing is it's taken so long due to our chief exec, apparently Hughes doesn't get on with him since the City days. I would have liked to see a foreign approach with say Hitzfield or someone, but Hughes was definitely my choice above Eriksson.
At least regardless with Eriksson/Hughes they'd both appeal to certain players.

Yeah I think Ireland would be a great purchase for many of the mid-lower teams. Even a few in the top ten.

They should just buy both!
Zamora is great but I think Fulham rely on him too much, if he gets injured they'll struggle so maybe the addition of Bellamy would be a good one, even if he is an absolute tit.

I think it could be a great time for the middle table teams to pick up some nice bargains at City with this home grown rule coming in. If the top teams go in the price will be high but I can imagine some good prices for the lower teams.

Yeah but we knew this during the worldcup. Cham seems to be fitting in nicely and Nasri is on fire at the moment.
Bendtner wasnt likely to start up front anyway, especially if we only go with one forward which is expected.
I dont think its anything serious and hopefully he can get it sorted out properly as apparently he has been suffering from this for a while.
