It's Manchester City, they are retarded.

Why would City want to sell a player to 1 of their main rivals? City don't need the money, they can pick and choose who they sell to. It was the same when Chelsea refused to sell Duff to Liverpool a few seasons back even though we offered far more money than Newcastle.

Why should we bid and how do you know we haven't bid or if we have bid what the actual offer is

like i said, i think we should but obviously we dont know the back ground - but i still say if we arent asking then we are missing out.

The thing with obertan was that he was actually languishing with his career in france. fergie took a chance. his debut was horrible but not only that most of his games have been bad. he can run a fair bit dont get me wrong its after he has done the rubbing that the problems become excacerbated. yes he was cheap and no you cant purely judge by a debut but it was just one example of a number of poor contribuitions he has made.

Keep up, Fabian Brandy released. Not good enough and did not develop enough. Wellbeck gone out on loan to Sunderland for development and game time at a higher level, again keep up. Mame Diouf not good enough in your opinion based on what, do you know what his game is about, do you even know if he is left footed or right footed. I guess opinions are like arse holes though, everyone has got one.

i think diuff scored on his debut - or close to as i remember. but i dont think he;ll make it at man utd. its just a gut feeling from what ive seen. of course i could be wrong. but im glad he is out on loan, like wellbeck, rather than not play for us its interesting to see what they do for other premiership clubs.

Grrrrrrrrr No he didn't and again thanks for showing us how much you have watched of the Premiership Years. If you actually went to any of the matches when Giggs was 17/18 he couldn't cross for Toffee and quite often his decision making was poor.

oh i neer said giggs could cross. he still struggles with that now. i always cringe when he goes to take a corner and still cant beat the first man.

but he would always bring some spartkle that would help make a goal; or still score himself. obertan doesnt look like the player who can do that regularly for us. valencia is pretty decent though he can do the job on the right wing solidly for a few years yet.

id be happy to be proven wrong on obertan but i remain unconvinced.

and as for sack giggs, well its a case of finding decent replacements - which is difficult but we have relied a bit too much open say scholes and giggs probably a bit too much over the last couple of years

How are we retarded? you would have to be retarded to be willing to let a player go to one of your main rivals coming off the back of the season hes just had, its like if Messi was put up for sale probably only 3 clubs could afford him us,chelsea,r madrid and would they accept Madrids offer??
I could care less if he left as he has had one good season and now thinks he can demand what he wants like Ireland, but what he doesnt realise is that Mancini doesnt follow Bellamy around and do what he says he simply gets rid and brings in a much better/younger player in Balotelli,
if Hughes was still here Bellamy would be no 1 player on the pitch/new contract and considered God but like i said earlier Mancini isnt going to succumb to a player who has had one good season and now is throwing his toys out of his pram and trying to undermine our efforts this year....
this began last year when he had a huge smile and high fives all round for the tottenham players and ever since then i have loathed him and cant wait till he leaves....i expect to see Bellamy at Fulham unless Schwarzer doesn't leave...i say this because Bellamy wont chop too much off 90k a week and so getting rid of scharzer will probably result in al fayed sanctioning the move
EDIT:Better :p

I just think it's not exactly being treated brilliantly, one of your best players last season and can't even get in the 25 squad. He should easily be there. Without him last season Man City wouldn't have finished where they did.

If Fulham sign Bellamy, it'll most likely be a loan, paying 30-40k of his wages - with maybe trying to sign him cheaply at the end of the season, or...they accept a lowish fee and he agrees lower wages.

Whoah, I see paragraphs and punctuation are beyond you.

Depends if Bellamy wants first team football for half the wage I guess. He seems like the sort of person that would rather play football than have an extra x amount a week.

Well i dont know about you but if i went around saying your manager doesnt speak to you and that your upset your not guaranteed a space in the team then i would expect to be sacked....if he had come out and said i want to play for this team im going to show Mancini then fair enough but he also had to have a little dig and so thats why Bellamy never settles at clubs...
Well tbh i can see him going to Celtic and if the papers are anything to go buy Given is going to Celtic also.

Well he said this after an indication that he won't be picked in the squad, I agree he probably shouldn't say it till it's confirmed, but it pretty much was. I quite like Bellamy, he's a ****, but speaks his mind (the JT thing especially :D).

I hope so, our wages won't go much over £40k anyway :p

He'll probably join us, if we can afford him :p

Bellamy will join whoever offers the most money and isn't seen as a rival to City.

Bellamy's got no bargaining power in this deal whatsoever. He'll go to whoever City want to sell him to and if not then he'll rot in the reserves. Although the reason behind it isn't right (City's money etc), it's a nice change to see a club making the decisions over a transfer rather than the player.

Nick is ok, he doesnt deserve half the stick he gets.

He is like you, misunderstood. ;)

I dont see why these things always have to decend into personal abuse and insults, its a game, it doesnt really matter in the grand scheme of things.

I haven't abused or insulted anyone yet...............

**** off, it's more than a game.

I'm not happy with how Redknapp is publicly going about it either though tbh. I'd be annoyed if it was the other way around.

I'm starting to think it's some sort of illness. We keep hearing him tell us that he doesn't want or like to talk about other teams players but that's just about all ever talks about.

Not really, its been clear since day one that Mancini doesn't like Bellamy, he wasn't injured in preseason, he managed most if not all the game for Wales the other day, he's been completely left out of preseason by Mancini though and it was clear as day BEFORE he made the comments that he wasn't getting picked.

At that point frankly Mancini is fair game, but don't forget as with most things, press probably asked him about it, and he just answered honestly, which may be a fault, but is usually entertaining with Bellamy.

I can't see him staying for any money, he's said he's had plenty of cash and would rather quit than ride the bench. He's a little mouthy git, everyone says so, but I prefer seeing a player fight, no matter what club or where in the table his team is, than give in or barely put any effort in (Ade).

You'd think he'd choose Hughes and Fulham/prem over Celtic, but if they only accept Celtics offer he hasn't got much choice.

Redknapp just wants to make a deal, I think thats the only reason he got into football, the chance to do lots of deals, runs away from a club the second they refuse to buy 10 players a summer(ish).

Arsenal fans....

Given or Schwarzer?

This mornings papers are saying that Hart will be starting for City and so Given is going to want to leave. Personally I would want Given.

But given (no pun intended) how City have been with their own players transfer I doubt they would want him to go to Arsenal!

I would prefer Given. Younger and I think the better keeper. Bit like the Spurs problem though, not likely to let him join us.

Would be a great signing. I am dreading starting with Flapianski tomorrow :(

Looking at how difficult it's been (time?) to find a decent keeper in recent years, I'm not really sure.

On paper Given's younger and could theoretically last longer. He'd represent better value for money. However we'd have to take in consideration that he's very untested at a consistently top side, can he make the step up? In this respect I think Schwarzer just about be the better keeper; he's looked quality for Fulham these last few years.

I remember thinking United were nuts going for VdS at 34/35 but he's done well and approaching 40. That even for a keeper is a pretty freaky, I doubt lightening would strike twice...

However rather than be linked with younger keepers who may or may not cut the mustard, I'm pleased at least we're going for two guys with experience. All in all, would prefer Schwarzer (just).
