Not entirely sure whether it's going to happen, but the whole Cesc 'will he or won't he' crap seems to have gathered into a slight frenzy today.

If we do sell this summer then selling now is a very bad idea. We still need to strengthen other areas. Losing our best player isn't going to send out the right message to potential candidates. Other clubs will surely raise their prices in response as well. Hold onto at least after the WC.

Easy. Though I might move Puyol left and bring in Gallas, though a better solution would be to play fantasy football and bring in Ashley Cole at left back.

You forgot Pique Gilly, Marquez is a bench warmer these days for Barca. I agree that they need a better player at LB though, Maxwell has played there on and off this season but I haven't been overly impressed by him. I would be pretty surprised if Arsenal manage to hold on to Fabregas, considering it sounds like he wants to leave. And there's no doubt Barca can afford him, seeing as they aren't in the habit of making mega money signings and get a ridiculous amount of money from their Spanish tv deal. If they wanted to buy Fabregas, Torres and Villa I imagine they could probably afford it!

But yeah, it was someone else that said it, not me, that he's one of the few players who looks like he plays his heart out every game for Arsenal, and drives everyone else on. We don't have many leaders in our team, after him you're looking at Big Sol...
