He did say that he would not be buying anyone else iirc. Do you think you can hold out til January?
Well all is ok at the moment but would have prefered if we got a new Goalie in. I hope Almunia can start to relax now that the transfer window is nearly up. But it's not good that we have a Goalie that is obviously so effected by the pressure of having a genuine revival
Given still does want to move though and that means at least one Goalie is going to move. Still hope lol

Defender, DM CM Left or right side of Midfield or off the main striker?
Even Moyes doesn't seem to know where to play him best and so he plays everywhere. Carrick would be a pointless swap because he wouldn't get in our midfield.

Arsene Wenger has not ruled out making further summer transfer dealings before the window closes on Tuesday.
Looks like he's coming to Leeds on loan. Watt is doing well with us.
What kind of player is he? Direct, tricky, quick, etc.

He also has offers from Swansea, and Newcastle are rumoured to be interested too. He could stay at The Arsenal too, as there are several injuries to other youths in his position (Frimpong)
Lansbury is the longest severing member of the playing staff at Arsenal! He's a good box to box midfielder, energetic, highly rated (signed a new deal in Dec '09), scores his fair share. Has had successful loans spells at Watford and S****horpe. Could have possibly already made it at Arsenal if it where not for injuries and Glandular Fever which meant he missed 9 months of the season.
Man City won't loan Given to us, so it' a non starter anyway. The real reason we only want a keeper for a couple of season's is Wojciech Szczesny anyway.

Fabiano signs a new 2 year deal with Seville...
It'll still be funny, letting a keeper go, for an even better, younger one. Dunno if we'll be able to agree a fee or not though.

If Fulham got Given first then I would say no thanks to Schwarzer. Then they would have two unhappy goalies
Will be an interesting last few days to see if anything happens. Would be nice having a new goalie but it wouldnt be the end of the world if we didnt. Lets hope our season isnt over by January
I remember someone mentioning that Given would unlikely go to Arsenal because of his wage demands so would Fulham be in a better position to pay him? Would be surprised if City would sell to us but then again they are fighting for 5th to 8th place and us 1st to 4th
