I actually don't think we need a goalkeeper this season or rather don't think we'll get one. Initially I figured we did but we want someone who is going to be a dead cert top keeper and are they really going to want to sit on the bench for a season? you only need 1 top keeper as I don't think you could could keep 2 happy.

We definitely need a creative midfielder who doesn't crack under pressure though, wings are alright. defence is ok, maybe a right back but I don't see it as a massive priority. Striker would be nice but it depends if Ferguson wants us to play 4-5-1 or if we can improve the midfield enough to allow 4-4-2 to be viable against the top teams. we're also a little bloated up front so we need to let some youngsters go out on loan as their progress is going to stall.

It's an area we are weak, I would like to see it strengthened.

O'Shea is a good utility but not a first team player for me, Rafael too stupid at times, Neville isn't as fast as me, Hargreaves isn't as fit as me and I assume you mean Fletcher as the 5th RB. :/

Brown?

Regardless whether we are 'weak' or not. There are other areas where we have little to no strength. And signing a new right back would basically mean giving up on rafael, he needs games to get experience. Sticking him on the bench will do **** all.

I was saying what I think we need, it's not set in stone son, calm down ;)

Brown is a good CB, I never trust him at RB, he was good for that one season but since he seems to lack pace and seeing as everyone has a fast as **** winger nowadays it's not an option. Think Liverpool and Jamie Carragher.

Rafael is quick enough, I just don't think he's ready for a full season, he's far too rash at times, if he can calm down he will be a cracking player.

it all kicked off in here earlier didn't it. it's a shame how some Arsenal fans always feel the need to resort to personal insults in response to perfectly valid points.

If u had the choice would you keep Sicknote Owen or Workshy Berbatov ?

I'm so glad that Chelsea's best players want to stay with the club, unlike Man.U, Liverpool & Arsenals <---- That's proper trolling that is.

Which is good if you want to field a team of OAP's;):p:D

Doesnt Deco want out though??...heard he wants to go back to Brazil for family reasons or something...

Read on the Guardian rumor mill that Fergie wants to offload;

Foster (done)
Fletcher (Sunderland / Villa)
Berbatov (A.C. / Sevilla / Hamburg / Bayern)
Nani (Benfica / Sunderland / Marseille)
Anderson (Benfica)

Looking to bring in Suarez and di Maria.

Also, hints at **** Wright Phillips off to Newcastle.

LOL why Fletcher and Nani? How old was that article you read? :p

I'm pretty sure that will be MU going all out for Silva now, if Villa sell they will want as much as possible and we're not going to out bid City.

Rather have Silva to be honest, he's sure to leave Valencia this summer now his buddy Villa has gone to Barca

Really ???????????

I watched him in a pre season last year and he was dog ****. He was like Reyes but slower. Admittedly I have not watched much of Valencia this year so cant comment on how he has played for them.

Too lightweight for what I have seen of him, albeit limted

Thos rumours have got to be rubbish, if we sell Ando I will be ****ed off. I will be ****ed off if we don't give Tosic a chance next year, he's done well on loan.

I have watched a few Valencia games and he seems pretty good although a bit lightweight...he has the ability to get better though whether or not that happens is another thing entirely. But he wouldnt be necessarily a bad signing for Utd...thats if Valencia dont want stupid money for him.

I'd have thought it's less likely that Silva will go now that Villa has been sold.

With the way Spanish sides are run, no single person is responsible for the financial side of the club and no matter what the circumstances are, presidents dread to sell star players for fear of a fan backlash.

At least G|mp wasn't called a gaylord again :p
